Thank you! Just start with something small and simple first when your afraid to try, that way you might get comfortable with the materials and you might enjoy it :3

oh my goodness!I never thought of baking one half of it so it doesn't get ruined when working on the other half! GENIUUSSSS
ahahah I always ended up squishing something on the other side XD

yeah my early sculptures ended up with obvious finger prints or smudges somewhere at its end XD then i found during my research that it is possible to bake multiple times and it's such a time saver!

Can't wait fo you to finish this wonderfull tutorial, so I can try making scultures myself! The first one will be a total fail, but who cares!? The important is to keep trying to improve xD

mangakasan In reply to Katy500 [2012-07-02 15:45:45 +0000 UTC]
it's the failures you learn most from i swear! and well the tutorial has ended with this one (atleast about sculpting) i might do some more in the future about making eyes and how to paint them etc, but till then just explore the world of sculpting , experiment and have lots of fun!

Yes, I know. I learnt that with my comic. It's the 3rd time I'm remaking it, because the previous versions where a total fail xD but now I think it is finally comming out just like I want xD
And I saw on the author's comment that you might do a tutorial about how to make eyes..... that one would be helpfull to me too, since where I live there is only one shop that might sell resin eyes (one of the bad thing for living in a small city xD), adn I don't have time to go there now xD But I'll try to do sculptures in the next weeks. If I do, I'll take a picture to show my failures to you ahah!
Thank you again for doing this tutorials, they will be really usefull to me

ah i know what you mean...my small city hardly sells any art supply's....i have to buy everything from the internetXD but resin eyes are hard to come by even on the internet....making them yourself is quite hard as resin is a B**ch to work with as mixing ratios as to be nearly perfect otherwise you get these horrible bubbles, it drove me mad many timesXD but if it works out it's super awesome :3 I cant wait to see what your gonna create!

xD tel me about it.... normally, to get any art supply I've to go to the "big citty" xD It's half an hour away from my citty (by car) and I g there normally once a month. But to buy my tablet I needed to go far away, almost one hour and an half away from my town xD
I'm working on it maybe by the end of the next week is finnished. Then I show it to you

Awesome!!
The last part reminded me of the time when I tried to make an eraser and I baked it for too long.
All I got was a lump of coal.
