Labyrinth © The Jim Henson Company & Lucas Film Ltd.My entry (just in time) for the current contest over at ~Disney-club , "Draw a movie poster for a movie you'd like to see Disney make".
I fail at drawing guys Disney style
Sarah looks all right because I used Belle for inspiration, but Jareth... *sigh* Still, I did my best, and colouring the lines like they do helped to some extent.Oh and imagine that it's a teaser poster; that's why there isn't much text on it.

Thank you!! My first idea was The Phantom of the Opera but my partner suggested Labyrinth as a slightly more obscure one, and I'm glad I listened because someone else drew something for The Phantom of the Opera.

Don't you know that they're going back? The Princess and the Frog, next year, will mark their great return to hand-drawn animation, leaving the 3D stuff to Pixar again

As for the eyes, the 'brown' one is the way he is because of an accident that left the pupil permanently dilated. But I've read that both irises are still blue, even though the damaged one has taken a brownish tone.

yeah i read about that too. and well i DID go to watch the movie about an hour ago, but of course my younger siblings have lost the dvd. i am soooo angry. now i have to buy it again. it's worth it though

I remember watching Labyrinth a long time ago on TV. It bored me easily because I had no idea what was going on (and I was a kid). I might rent it someday and re-watch it. David Bowie looks cool in that movie.

I only saw it for the first time about 7 years ago. You ought to give it another go because it's truly awesome. Sure, some things might look a bit naff compared to what effects can do these days, but you have to watch it remembering that they didn't have all that back then.
