There aren't very many fire type reptile pokemon out there (just Charmander's family, Torkoal and Reshiram.... If Reshiram counts as a reptile) so here's some new ones. They're a blend of ankylosaur and komodo dragon, to mix things up a little design-wise!Volcodo - Fire type - Young Dragon Pokemon
Ability: Blaze (Hidden ability - Flash Fire)
"Volcodo are docile creatures, but trainers need to be careful of their fiery bite when upset!"
Eruptile - Fire type - Young Dragon Pokemon
Ability: Blaze (Hidden ability - Intimidate)
"A hot-headed pokemon that trains relentlessly to master techniques that utilise its tail club. However, at this stage its fire breath is the more potent of its attacks."
Ankomodon - Fire/Dragon type - Hammer Tail Pokemon
Ability: Blaze (Hidden ability - Intimidate)
"The armor along its back forms a large hammer at the end of its tail. This can be set alight by venting its internal fire out of two ports, enhancing its destructive power"

Oh wow this is great, and very well thought out! I'm not generally a big fan of fakemon but these are kind of spectacular. They make the fanfiction author in me be tempted to use them in one of my stories.

Those are greatly drawn,and i love their designs its so unique, especially the final evolution, it really emanates power/ferociousness vibes.

When it came to designing them, I just thought it'd be fun to draw some new fire reptiles. I drew up a kind of generic looking bulky dinosaur thing and stuck a hammer on its tail. Then I was sure I wanted to go with an ankylosaur design so the hammer tail made more sense, but I wanted to make it look a little bit more lithe. So a komodo dragon was chucked into the mix because they're powerful looking as well as a little more agile. And that's about it as far as insipration goes

I now gained a new perspective when it comes to inspiration. i used to take it from one source, but these days i realized its also possible/better to be inspired from many sources and converging them into one unique design.

Hey you're very welcome! I'm glad I could help you with your own art too ^-^
Some designs do work just fine being based off one particular thing, while others can benefit from incorporating multiple elements. It's all about what look and personality you want to give a character as well I guess, as the main reason I incorporated komodo dragon into this one was because it just didn't feel right when it looked too rigid.
