Description
Dragons are a key part of the world. They were the ones who founded it and founded language. The first complete alphabet is listed here.If you can't read the notes in the picture:
All letters corresponds with a single phoneme (smallest unit of sound) or pair of phonemes. There are no deviations in spelling. No letter can be used to represent a different phoneme. There are no capitol or lower case letters, just letters. When writing in dragon script, any time a consonant phoneme is followed immediately by a vowel phoneme, the letter for that consonant with the vowel is used. For example, in the word "dragon, the "ra" is represented as the symbol of 'r with a (as in apple)' rather than the r and a separated. The only time vowels are written as independent letters is when the start a word. Dragon script writes from top to bottom, right to left. in other words, up and down, starting on the right side. The phoneme for "g" is the g heard in "good." the phoneme or "j" is the phoneme heard in "jump." The phoneme for "h" in the dragon language is actually a silent break, but when translating, it is used to replace the "h" phoneme because it is its closest match. The phoneme for "q" is pronounced in the dragon tongue as a clicking sound, but for translating, it is used as a "q" because it is its closest match. "RD" is the phoneme used in the Japanese "r", which sounds very different from the English "r." The letters which are combinations of vowels and consonants are really only a blending and simplifying of the two letters, so while it looks complex, it isn't as complex as it appears.
I may move it to scraps later, but I wanted people to be able to see what the dragon script looks like. If some of these look familiar it is because I based the letters in large part off of Chinese and Japanese symbols... after all, Dragons taught the Chinese the written word before any other culture. So the Chinese lettering and the Dragon script should resemble one another right?

Huh? What you say say may be true, but some of them are English, probably some are other languages too. If it is a sound, you will find it in at least one language. So while what you say may be true, it is also meaningless, just as saying that a made up language for a fantasy species is fake. To that, I say, no duh. If you are trying to state the obvious, congrats... Otherwise, I have no idea what you're talking about.
If you are wondering, this is the language I made up so that I could use it in my book. In my book, the Japanese and dragons have a closer relationship, and so I wanted to reflect that in the writing f dragon tongue. There is more to it than that, but in a nutshell, you have it.

That book was made up by someone else, just as this was made up by me, it has no more and no less credibility than mine. If I used a language made up by someone else, all it would do is show that I lack originality and or creativity. You do know that, right? Not offended, just confused by your comment, which was posed as if you thought dragons were real. I have a ton of dragon books too, but that doesn't mean my dragons have to be a perfect match.
If I was telling a story about a specific mythical dragon which exists in lore... Like smog, or the hydra for example, I would need to try to match up with the existing descriptions as much as possible. But that is not the case. These dragons are of my own invention.

I just wanted to add in that the consonants you have written are actually the Chinese alphabet XD
Most Chinese users don't know them, since they are only taught in Taiwan as a some sort of a training wheels to using actual characters.
There are some rules to the way you use them, but I don't want to make it too complicated for you.
It's pretty cool how you merge the different letters together, good job~

You do realize that dragons are mythological, right? And that I made this language up to go with the dragons of my imagined world, which fit with the story I am putting together, and therefore, as the creator of these particular dragons, if I say that what I posted here is dragon script, then it is, right? If you are trying to say that it doesn't resemble dragon script to you based on other dragon scripts you have seen, that would make sense... still, any other dragon script you saw was made up by someone else... just like mine, and therefore, it holds no more or less credibility... as they are both the results of imagination. I'm glad you like my script... I think, but I am not sure what to think of your comment, which seems a little condescending to me when you are telling me that you know better than I do about the creation of my own imagination. I am sure that was not your intent however, so whatever. I'll take the comment as feedback that this script I invented a while back looks too human to be dragon script to you, that would be valuable feedback after all. I may have created my own dragons, but I did not create the idea of dragons, and as such, when putting things together, it is a good idea to conciser how my dragons fit into the larger scheme of things with regards to other dragons and what people think of then they think of dragons. While I am looking for originality, I don't want to be inconsistent either.

This is really net! ...but...
Two things:
1) I don't know how to pronounce this stuff
2) Do you use these words for the phonetic spellings of Japanese or English to form words or...what?
*is so completly lost* But anyway, it's cool.

To answer your question, you need to look at the top, where the vowels are shown, everything else is English unless mentioned otherwise because I assumed that the majority of people likely to view it are English speakers.

thanx, It does. Dragons originally scratched it into stone... then the shape shifting dragons learned that it would be esier to change into a form with hands and write with ink. Most dragons still rely on scratching though.
