I've always thought it strange that a group of crows was called a murder...
Very nice art all the same!

I always thought it was cool! Far better than a POD or a LITTER, don't you think? Both of those name for groups of animals just sound... gross.

No offence but...what does the title have to do with the picture?Great job though. I can't do that on photoshop, no matter how hard I try.

A large group of crows is called a 'murder'. Just as a group of whales is a pod, kittens are a litter... etc.

Now that's just crappy. Why is it called a murder? I fyou think about it, it is stupid. Because there are more murders being done by humans than crows.

I suppose you're right, but likely just because we have weapons... Animals do hurt each other all the time in their kingdom. A lot of people also find it as a bad omen to so a large group of crows...
But don't underestimate crows, now. They are one of the most clever animal species in the world. They are the only other living creature other than humans capable of sequential logic! Meaning... they can bend a stick to make an appropriate tool, use that tool to open something to get a bigger tool to open a third, then fourth box to find a bit of food. (youtube it!) I was also reading that crows are capable of passing on knowledge through their parents when they're born. For example, they will recognize a human guilty of harassing their mother 5 years prior, even if the mother was M.I.A. during the crows adolescence.

Yes, I know. I plan on becoming zoologist when I grow up. Animals just facinate me.
