Description
Ben clayton and I are working together for a horror movie script that he wrote and I am providing the concepts and storyboards for. After that we will forward the project to some film studios for consideration. Thanks very much to for her use of her likeness, particularly the series she did in blonde.
Description
--------------------------------------
Patrice is a stunning young woman in her early 20’s. Before the fall of society, she lived a good life as a popular college student full of the innocence of youth.
Then everything turned into a nightmare, and the walking dead were the least of her problems. Kidnapped and tied up in small dark rooms, she now holds deep fears from horrors of abuse that can only be imagined.
Even after escaping and meeting new friends, that fear still resonates in her eyes and sours her dreams. In the end, will she be a liability or will she be able to find the strength to support those around her?

Yepp
If people can share emotions with the character they can identify with them.
[No problem, I'll send you a link and won't answer the other comment to keep it in my inbox ]

Thank you very much again Jessica,I really try to put some depth into my character artworks,I think that expression through eyes and body movements are the factor to an effective result.Colors help those elements to come up to the surface too, thank you dear

Welcome I really do enjoy looking at art that expresses emotions, sometimes it makes me feel that same emotion he/she/it is feeling

Im really happy you do to Jessica, for me, art is more about expressing feelings rather the technique itself.A strong feeling a picture creates to you can stay there for a long time and keep making you think about many messages through it.
I appreciate your wonderful comments

Thats what ive always thought of art as. i also believe thats how art came to be, putting emotions on a canvas to show the world the pain, joy, or anger that is wamted to be felt or the artist is feeling.

I believe is the role and mission of an artist to transfer all those good or bad feelings to the world and send important messages out there.I dont look only the goods that surround us but the bad as well, because indeed the world has two sides and if we have the gift to move people's feelings with our creations and make them think more deeper,I guess its a big step to make the world a bit better.
Thank you for your wonderful comments Jessica.

This reminds me a bit "Les Miserables". Great work!
One note: The left leg seems a bit deformed, especially in the yellow part. Is it supposed to be on purpose because of a hit and a swallowed leg?

Hi there Niko my friend, thank you man,yes ,the leg is indented to be that way, like some of its part is been eaten,or missing from some wound or something.also i wanted to twist the anatomy to add some horror feeling, besides, indeed, zombies does ever look normal? hehe,Seyxaristo niko mou!

Hehe,Welcome back man
Well, two things I might say,the first one is that we cant have the perfect result in a rushed or fast concept(besides thats the point of concept,to give a base idea of the figure etc) and secondly she might have a bit fat there lol
not all women are so nice right? As always i appreciate your comments Niko and are welcomed!I guess Im going to have some new stuff very soon!
See you around man

ahhh...that's probably my motivation in thought. Les Mis is my favorite theater production and a great book, in condensed form...i don't need 200 pages of Napolean, etc.

So Manthos, here we go: Great one! Very nice concept. You captured hear fear very good, mainly through this sag eyes. Good facial expression isnt the easiest thing to paint, and you did very well.
You are great with your concepts. You dont simply think about how these Persons could look like and what they could wear and so on. I can see that u truely think about these charackters, and about how you can tell as much as possible about them through your pictures.
In this case you gave her a pose thats a bit unusual for charackter concepts i think. But through this u tell even more about her fears and her incertitude.
But at least the most fascinating thing: Beside of all this you can still see in her some kind of strengh and the possibility, that she could stand up and beginn to stike back.
keep it on!

Hi there man, again I have to thank you for this great comment of yours...Its true that I dont deal the characters concepts just as usual concepts.I do try to go behind the image and give them some soul which can be expressed through their emotional expressions on face and body.
I am really happy that this worked here because I push my self to try unusual elements and ways to succeed that.I focused mostly on her face, her eyes which I wanted for her to look feared and tell a story itself. Her body position helped also to show her in a more fragile situation according to Ben's script. Also those weak characters in first sight could indeed hide some great strength behind those scared eyes..Thank you very much my friend!Your support means really a lot to both Ben and me.
