Full view is appreciated.The second shot of the cricket before he jumped away.
The black wood you see is our fence. The distance from the fence to the floor is 10 4 inches. The crichet was 0,5 inch big !!

That is one big hopper.. YIKES..
Remided me of a few years back, we had a sort of plague of hoppers. Hundreds of thousands of the big yeller grasshopppers. would literally infest the back yard. I had to walk thru the yard with a piece of plywood and herd them out of the yard befor I mowed..
Ever had twenty or so hopper land on you on a riding lawnmower.. It is not a pruty site..
Now.. This one the other hand is great.. You have that lil flower in the back with the fence and him in the foreground.. WOW.. super superb shot!!

Oh, a hopper plague must be very dangerous for those who live from the land. They can eat a whole plantation in no time !!
