Description My first tutorial, hopefully I've explained everything clearly. (I think I wrote too much...). Full view or download to read.

This is how I like to colour in PSP8. I like this technique because I'm quite lazy and messy, and not too steady with my mouse, so this technique allows me to not be too neat. I like the soft airbrushed look instead of the sharp lines. This method is also quite fast, it took me 1-2 hours to finish this pic.

Even though it's a tutorial, I found that I've learned more about the program as I was making this . Even though this is done in PSP8, I'm sure Photoshop would also work, as long as it has the magic wand, airbrush, and smudge tools.

The curve method of the lineart I learned from ~ryo-hakkai : [link]

The background... yeah, I'm not good at doing that...

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask, and I'll try my best to answer .

You're a life saver! >.< I've played with psp8 a lot, and will continue to use many of my techniques, but this will make my life so much easier (it takes me six hours to colour a pic if I'm lucky) Hopefully this will cut the time some. I've been reading a whole bunch of tutorials, but this is the only one that actually uses psp8. So, I'll prolly combine a bunch of techniques (along with my own)
Jeez, why did I type all that? You don't have to read it, it's pretty much irrelivant

Thank you for making this tutorial ^_^ . I have several drawings stored on my computer that I've scanned in, but I haven't been able to color them right without making them look horrible o_O . If I actually color one right I'll credit your tutorial when I upload it into my gallery ^___^ .

Thanks again!!!
