So I saw this improvement meme somewhere and I though it might be fun to do it, too. And since I've never uploaded a meme before, here it is.I chose this old drawing not because I love it, but because it's a simple one and I didn't want to spend much time on the "remake".
She's Aoife, an original character of mine I hadn't drawn in a long time.

She has feet instead of cones now! That's what I call an improvement.
hahahah, just kiddin'. What I like the best is the coloring!! Mostly because it's turned into one of your unique traits as an artist. I mean, If I see a drawing of yours, I could recognized it just by the way you paint it, even if the style was totally different. ^___^
Other thing I notices is... the importance of the signature on the first drawing? It's like 20% of the whole picture. That's something you've given up in the 2011 one, but still, makes me wonder why so showy on 2009... 2009? Really?!!? Woah, yeah, impressive skill improvement in two years. o___O

Yeah, i know you'd be able to recognize my art no matter what. just the same way i think i'd be able to recognize yours. After years of watching each others and commenting and criticizing. But that's nice, that you actually realized it and said it ^^

What I was actually trying to say is that your way of coloring is truly yours. Unlike me, your drawings posses something called "style continuity", this is something that's mostly reflected on the way you color them (at least, on my eyes). You also use similar color palettes, which are usually nature-themed. Those traits are easy to recognize in any of your pictures, just like an invisible watermark.
With me its like, any drawing I post could have been drawn by a different person *laughs*.
So that continuity is something I really admire of yout art ^o^
