very cool plant. i've seen them, but they were much greener...very dark green surface with the same interesting 'eyeballs'.....

i wish this was in wall paper size it would be so cool on my screen!
i dont know if you are into manipulating shots, but if you are i think tweaking the levels a bit would add a little more "zing"

I did tweak the levels and contrast a bit. Maybe it could take some more, but I usually prefer not to change too much. Nature girl - you know

Thanks a lot. The flower is from a Physalis peruviana plant, and it's mostly the stamen you can see in this photo!
