That... that would be frikkin' weird. o3o But awesome! I like it! And then they would kind of be forced to make a little army, eventually. But seeing as they aren't really "rebelling" against anything, I don't think we should call it a rebellion. They're fighting for their lives, not really trying to change anything. And of course, there's going to be women! But most of my character ideas happen to be guys. :'D I'll try to think of a female! And I was planning on having one guy, and then later another guy would join him. Those are both my characters. You can have any other character(s) you want join them. XD Actually, one or more of your characters should join my first guy (my main character) before I bring the second one in. I think that'd be best. And they can run into other groups every now and then and maybe find a meeting place so that it's easier for them to all get together when they decide to form that army!

Weirder the better. So should we call them freedom fighters, or something of that nature? Phew..I always have women in my stories. It'd be weird for me not to have ladies in it. You want me to come up with the women and you with the men? Or vice versa? I'm fine with either one. Maybe a meeting place should be in the center of the city, or what's left of the city. I think either way this is going to be a kickass story ^^

Yeah, something like that. Or maybe "The Uprising," since they're rising up to kill this thing that's making their lives miserable. Unless that name is too lame. ;A; Ah, I think that we should just come up with whatever we want to come up with~ All of my character ideas happen to be male, but if you want to create a character that's male, also, go ahead! Same with me and females. If I get the inspiration for a female, I'm going to create it. (: Yes, something like that. Maybe downtown in the lobby of an old hotel...? Somewhere in the middle of town, but also somewhere sheltered. They wouldn't want a storm to break up their meetings or anything, right?! Aha, it so is! I'm looking forward to writing it!

That's a good title. Seriously. All my titles suck. That's good. We're the creators after all. We'll come up with something so original people would be jealous of it~~ Meyersss.. I'll try to come up with a male..his name will suck prolly but I'll try to make it work. I rather do women since their names come easier to me. The lobby sounds good. Maybe one of the males is the son of the owners hotel so he knows how to get to a secret part of the place. I'm looking forward too..it sounds like a great story. Maybewe could start a group about it so people can get into it..maybe some fan art togo along with it ^^

You think so? Well, I just have "The Uprising" by Muse stuck in my head. :'D Yes! Let's make Meyer majorly jelly. I have two females and three males so far. And it's okay if his name sucks. XD I mean, it's just a name. My characters will probably have lame names as well. Yeah, that could work! One of them could totally be the son of the owner. But it couldn't be any of my guys that I've come up with because the only one who has that kind of potential is an antagonist. ;A; I could try to come up with another, but I was thinking you could make one of your super hotties the hotel owner's son. (; And a group sounds like a fine idea~ I'd have to quit one of mine, though. I'm already the admin of 3 groups. I know which one I'll quit, so it's not that big of a deal.

Anyway, I want to give you a little (or a lot) of information on the characters I have so far.

Lucas Spalding (goes by Luke) - As an orphan who grew up on the streets with no family, Luke knows all about what it takes to survive. However, he's a very good guy and avoided a life of crime, despite his unsteady background. Not even he is sure how old he is, and nobody can really tell because sometimes, he is very mature, and other times, he is dependent, like a little boy. He comes across as a bit of a loner at first, but he certainly doesn't mind company. He is a leader type of guy who likes to get things done, but many people don't want him as the leader of their group because they don't trust a "kid" to be responsible enough to make life-or-death decisions. He is on the shorter side of things, standing at a whooping 5'3". He knows he is short and won't become enraged if someone calls him things like "shrimp" or "pipsqueak." He keeps his hair very long because he thinks cutting it would be an inconvenience, especially because he can use it to keep himself warm. He keeps it in a high ponytail to keep it off his neck when it gets too hot. Because of his height, baggy clothes, and long hair, he gets mistaken for a girl quite a bit. He doesn't show much emotion at all, and he only smiles a little bit when he is happy. The only time his facial expression drastically changes is when he is flustered or embarrassed, in which case his face turns red and he runs his finger repeatedly back and forth across the nearest surface. His best friend is Thaddeus, whom he assumes is dead after the chemical breaks out. (This is the adorable guy I was telling you about that I'm going to doll~)

Thaddeus Clifford - Thaddeus is also a street kid, but he had his family beside him the whole time. His father was always underqualified for jobs because he dropped out of school in the seventh grade. Because of this, Thaddeus could never afford to attend school and still struggles to read. He had a four-year-old sister named Maddison to whom he was very close. She died when the chemical broke out, however. So did his parents. His parents used to call him "Taddy Bear," but now Luke is the only one who can get away with calling him Taddy. It is a very special name, so it can only be used by very special people. Thaddeus is taller than Luke... by a lot, and he stands at 6'1". However, he is severely malnutritioned because he gave most, if not all, of his food to Maddison. Even though she's dead, he still doesn't eat much. He only eats what he needs to survive, so he doesn't put on any pounds. He suffers from insomnia and always has bags under his eyes. He keeps his hair short, but it's thick and matted, and he tries to hide that under a baseball cap. Another defining characteristic of Thaddeus is that there is this big hole in his shirt that he refuses to sew up. Unlike Luke, Thaddeus did get involved in some crime, but it was just stealing video cameras and batteries. He carries a bag full of video cameras, batteries, and SMS cards. He likes to record as much of every day as possible, and at night, when he can't sleep, he will go back and rewatch that day's video. He's a very quiet guy, who normally only talks to Luke, but his lack of speach can be explained by his lack of sleep. He does not think Luke is dead after the chemical breaks out and goes out to look for him, meeting up with him later in the story.

Hofy - Hofy is a secondary character. She does not understand emotions very well, so she laughs when she is supposed to get angry and sobs hysterically when she should be happy and does all kinds of other things that make no frikkin' sense. She is about 18 years old. Her parents did not want such a weird child, so when she was old enough (15 is what they thought was "old enough"), they sent her off to live in an apartment by herself. They paid the rent, but she still needed money for food and stuff, so she ended up working at a bowling alley, giving people their shoes and helping out when bowling bowls got stuck in the gutters. She has a fascination with balloons and always has one tied around her wrist. Her current balloon is a yellow smiley face one, and it's her favorite. She needs to find a helium tank so that she can have more balloons.

Eleanor - Eleanor is something that crawled out of the sewers... literally. She's been living in the sewers for almost a decade because her abusive father told her, "Wait here until I come back and get you." Well, he never came back and got her. After a while, she just crawled out. Her nails and hair are grossly overgrown, and chunks of trash, feces, and rat guts are clinging to her hair. She developed a very morbid personality down in the sewers, and now she enjoys creeping people out and laughs at anything dead or dying. She also developed a sensitivity to light and will shriek if someone shines a light on her. She and Hofy are a team, and they are very nocturnal because of Eleanor's problem with light. When they absolutely have to go out during the day, Eleanor keeps her eyes closed, and Hofy drags her along by the wrist. Eleanor's sensitivity to light is so extreme that she can even sense light coming through all that thick hair of hers!

Bartholomew Trent - Bartholomew grew up in a very rich and esteemed family and became very spoiled because his parents gave him anything he wanted. Now that the world has ended, he wants to reclaim his money and power and intends to use the chemical to do so. He thinks the best way to get close to the chemical is to get close to those in the Uprising, so he's sort of undercover and joins their side. He pretends to be very charming and smooth talks his way through a lot of situations, but later in the story, he leaves their side for the chemical.

Not a whole lot on Bartholomew, there. ;A; Sorry... Anyway, I hope you like them! I mean... you have to live with them for an entire book, so it would be bad if you absolutely hated them! XD

I could definetly make the owners son. I already have an image of him in my head. He could be attractive but have glasses and seem like a nerd but come off as a good fighter which the others don't expect or even him. I think Avery is a good name. A total straight-A student who plays video games in his spare time, that's how he fights to well. Those actiony, gore video games gave him practice to fight. His dad looks down at him because Avery wants to go to college to become a graphic artist/comic book designer and things like that. What do you think?

Phoebe 'Bebe' is another character I was thinking about. She's a stubborn, trouble maker who never gets away with it. She's been to juvie four times for robbery, assult, and a few other things. She's been a tomboy all her life and isn't interested in becoming a girl anytime soon. She likes guns and knives and any weapon that causes pain to another person.

That's all I have so far But as soon as I find a group base, the characters faces and design will become easier to make.

Really? I've received way longer. My friend and I used to send each other messages back and forth that were well over a page in length, each!

Avery... that sounds good. But he would have to have a little more experience with guns than just video games because a real gun is way different than a virtual one. D: And I can see why his dad would look down on him. He would want someone to take over the family business, but Avery has other plans.

Bebe sounds like she'd get along with Eleanor, seeing that they're both sadists. But I don't think Thaddeus and Luke would like her pain obsession. OTL However, Thaddeus would definitely be sympathetic toward the troublemaking side of her, though he's never been caught, and the worst he's ever done was, like I said, steal video cameras. D;

This is a good start. Maybe he could play those types of video games that come with a life-size gun so, techically, he has some expierence. But maybe I'll think of something more..practical. Seeee? I came up with a character on shor notice

Girls are better teams mates when they can work together. Maybe she and Thaddeus could have a little thing on the side when they aren't trying to fight for freedom. Bebe has always liked stealing things, like electronics so she and him could ge along and talkabout robbin straegies XD

Haha, yeah. My friend doesn't come around as much, so we don't have as many conversations like that, but oh well. XD

Yeah, but... the feel of a real gun is a lot different because you have the recoil, and in video games, even with ones that use the life-size guns, you don't get the recoil.
And if you need more time to flesh him out or anything, go ahead! I wasn't trying to pressure you into creating characters right away. I had an entire night to think about mine before I sent you that message. And actually Bartholomew, Eleanor, Hofy, and Thaddeus are characters that I already had, but I had no stories for them, so I just edited their pasts a little to fit this story. So, Luke was the only one I made up totally in one night. The rest have been sitting around in my head for a while.

Haha, that's true. Eleanor doesn't normally like to work with someone that isn't Hofy, though. D; It can take a lot for her to open up, but that's to be expected after living in the sewer for a decade, right? Yeah, they could talk about robbing strategies and maybe share their experiences. XD

Awwww. I see. Maybe I should ask my dad about these weapon kind of things. He's into guns and the zombie apocolyse. Oh, yeah, I knew these characters weren't going to take over night to create. I'm stil in the process of Bebe's design. God..her hair..it's going to be wild 8D I've had little characters in my head for the longest time too. I've had this one guy named Ace. I'm not sure about him placement/back story yet but I have look in my head.

Girls can get along so well, they just have to have something in common first off. Then maybe they'll look out for each other.

Yeah, I have a friend who's in Boy Scouts and who took shooting lessons(?) from there. (Not sure if "lessons" is the proper term...?) So, I was going to have him help me with all the weapon stuff I needed. I'm pretty good when it comes to knives and junk. Just not guns. ;A;
Aha, I can't wait to see her~ I'm still workin' on Luke. It's very touch and go, on and off kind of work. |D He looks too masculine and too tall in this picture. ;A; He's supposed to look all girly and short!
Mm, well, you'll have to tell me about Ace when you get him figured out! Hurr... Ace and Avery. I was thinking about a tomboy-ish type, but since we already have Bebe, I don't think it's necessary for me to create a character like that. XD

I was actually taking your advice on green hair for her. Not so much an moss or dark green but a almost teal and greenish color to make her hip and almost cool..kinda X3 So Luke's supposed to be..what's the right term for this.. girlish? Scrawny? Homosexual?

Ace has been there forever roaming around in my head all alone with no story. Poor guy. So should Ace be masculine, since Bebe is all tomboy and weapon savy?

Really? XD Bartholomew dyed his bangs a bright lime green color. That's kinda weird. Ah, no! No, not at all... Sorry for giving you that impression. He's just supposed to be really short, and since he wears baggy clothes, people can't really tell if he has boobs or not. Plus, he keeps his hair insanely long. So it's easy to mistake him for a girl. He looks pretty young, but nobody is sure how old he is, and he's old enough to take care of himself and be a leader, sooo... But then there are times when the kid in him comes out. Like, when he's tired, he often falls asleep in people's laps or on their shoulders. It's really cute. X3 So... he doesn't look very masculine and everything. But he's not homosexual. ;A; I ship him and Thaddeus just for the giggles, but they are definitely not a couple! He is pretty thin, but not nearly as thin as Thaddeus is! And he's just light-weight because of his height and lack of good food. Remember, he's a street kid, but... he does know how to get a hold of some food, and he helped Thaddeus and Maddison out sometimes. He's more well-fed than his buddy is, but that doesn't mean he's going to get fat any time soon. OTL

It doesn't matter. I have a kind of feminine-looking guy, so if you want him to be masculine, go ahead. XD But I don't really care what you do with him. He's your character after all.

Yes~ It can be quite fun! ...in fiction! It's scary in real life. ;A;

Well, resources ae better than nothing. If I didn't have google, I don't know what I do for Metamophosis, it take places all around the USA. I'd have a hard time pin-pointing, well, everything

Well, Barthad Bebe could talk about hair in the meantime, to get t get to kow each other XD Nah, I don't think Bebe would actuall talk about hair and girly things like that. Oh, no, it's no problem. It's me. I swear, almost all the male OCs I see nowadys are gay/bisexual and are described as that. I think Luke is the pefect leader. He could get close to everyone and make them feel safe even though they aren't really X3 Aw, I see. Street kids may have it rough but they know how to manage,thankfully.

This is going to be a pain in the butt. I'm going to have tofind some imspiration for him somewhre. I'l get back to you when I have the perfect info for him.

Of course it's scary in irl. My friend's best friend cuts and yu can obviously see it right there on her arm. It's really sad ;^;

Yes, Barth. I think it's a cute nickname. So..is he narcissitic a lot? God, the bi/gay count of male and female ocs kill me sometimes. I just want to punch some of these deviants for not being creative. They're mundane. End of story. Go find some other website to invade your so original ocs with XD with their scene looks and coontails and sexual orientation and whatnot |D Wow. 5'3" is..a little tall (I'm actually 5'10"). And it's nice and convenient~ He can be narcissitic sometimes, but when he sees people are starting not to like him, he switches to this really charming guy who attempts to flatter everybody... OTL Yes! Gosh... I'm tired of all the gay OCs! I actually like seeing lesbian girls because I see way less of them than I see homosexual characters. Some of my characters are gay, but most are heterosexual. And these days, I've started creating more and more characters who aren't interested in relationships at all. And I hate it how SOOO many OCs are emo/goth/punk/scene whatever! Sure, it's okay if you have a few characters like that, but it's called originality, people! I'm 5'8"... and a quarter. But yes, Luke is really, really short for a guy. Most guys aren't that short... OTL Yes, exactly like Irma! It's like... you don't even realize she's the leader. She just sort of assumes that position. That's what Luke does. I've been interested in the street life... always, I think. Just the survival part of it... Plus, Togainu no Chi and its "every man for himself" kind of theme played a big role in my love of street kids, as well.

Yeah. XD Dude, it takes me months to update stuff sometimes. OTL But when we get more of our characters figured out, we can start writing!

Yes siree. He kind of reminds me of Riven for some reason. Even though he isn't a big character, like Irma or Caleb or even Helia in TNC, he tend to be only interested in himself. He compliments himself about his hair his skills, his..singing..He can't sing for his life. But he can bust a move |D I see a lot of lesbian bases, well, yuri. But not OCs as much as yaoi/gay. I have only one gay OC for now, Kaden. And two bisexual ones, Jamie and Shane. That's all. I'm not the kind of person who only revolves around "creative" OCs XD I grew up with the Disney classic, so I wasn't one to make homosexual OCs as a kid. I'm a hetro by heart. I'm trying excell with my characters, to make them look vey..modern nowadays. I mean, there is going to be apart where Irma thinks she biseual because she never gets the guy XD But that's just a thought. She becomes the leader because the heart of freaking Nova. And because (this part is a secret but I'll let you in on it) she's a Corneail. They're born leaders.

I'm trying real hard to keep up the program with Metamorphosis. So, yeah, I know thsis going to take a while for us, plus I'm updating The Effects of Frostbite and finishing Anothe Fairytale. So yes, this is going to be a very challenging yet rewarding experience.

So, does it make me a sadist if I make a character cut themself? Oh hells yeah. I would ever cut or burn or slice myself. My parents, thankfully with their amazing insurance, can afford therapy if I ever need it. And if I was inflicting pain on myself then I'd be in it for usure. It is sad. I hope so too..

Yup. That's just like Barth. He's only interested in himself, his own motives, his own power, his own wealth... which is why he needs the chemical. Now I'm tempted to look up Riven singing. |D I see yuri bases, too. I have quite a few in my favorites because I have this crack yuri couple that I'm doing with my friend Jenna, and then I'm writing a story that's all yuri except for one couple, who is hetero. I just wanted to experiment with yuri, since I never have before. It's just like hetero love only with two girls. <3 I actually have more yuri OCs than I do yaoi OCs. @_@ And most of my OCs are hetero. I love creative OCs, which is why I made an OC for the Vindice from KHR!, and I love seeing OCs that are different. But when everyone of your OCs is used for yaoi, that kind of turns me off a little bit... What?! Irma gets all kinds of guys! She just... screws it up somehow, which makes it seem like she doesn't get the guy. |D But I can understand her wanting to try girls because of her failed relationship with guys. I actually have an OC who's a lesbian but wants to try dating guys because of all her failed relationships with girls! XD Yeah, her bloodline seems is pretty important, so it would make sense that it has something to do with her being a leader.

Also, I was thinking we could write it in a roleplay style, and with all the formatting and editing and putting together that goes into that... Yeah, it'll take a while. I read some more of Another Fairytale today and read the prolouge of The Chosen Angels. :3 I wish you luck in finishing all your writing projects!

If you derive pleasure from the character cutting himself or herself, then yes, you are a sadist. If you don't receive any pleasure from it, then no, you are not. I get pleasure out of my characters' (and other characters') pain, which makes me a sadist in the fictional world. There was a time in seventh grade when I had no one but my family, and I thought about cutting myself. I stood in front of the knife rack in my kitchen and really, really thought about it. But then I walked away. I'm not sure if my parents could afford therapy, but they'd definitely find a way if I needed it.

Oh, Barth. He sounds perfect for this story. A story/show always needs character that needs to love himself. He's abetter singer than Skrillex, let's just say that for now.. I could never write a yuri story. Just not my forte. If you ever do write it all with your friend, I'm going to have to read it. I know, I know. Irma makes them all weak but then always blames herelf for them leaving even though it's their faults. She's so perpexed, I think we established this a while ago. Her bloodline is so much more than simply important XD It'll makemore sense soon. Hopefully..

Oh, well, it doesn't pleasure me personally. So then no, I guess not. My OC Jamie cuts to make the pain go away. It's not one of his best choices bu it helps him with his current inner demons. Wow. That's really sad. And freaky. All I had in the seventh grade was my family too. I had no friends sadly. I never thought about cutting because I knew it was going it get better.

Anyone can be a better singer than that guy! /shotbyLMFAOfans Aha, my friend and I are never going to write a story based on our little crack yuri couple. XD I do have a few yuri things posted in the 400 Lyrics Challenge over on Luna, but that's it. It's actually not hard to write yuri stories. You have a dominant and a submissive one, and in my story, Kitten is the dominant, while Bunny Doll is the submissive one. I write a few paragraphs, explaining what my characters are doing and saying, and send them to you. You then reply with what your characters are doing, and we write a story like that. We absolutely cannot take control of the other person's character. If you need one of my characters, or I need one of yours, we would send each other our finished part and wait for the other to reply. It's really fun, and it's a nice way to surprise each other with the story. XD

My OC Magnolia cuts... her calves. She doesn't cut her wrists like normal people. OTL She's so strange. But I can understand why Jamie does it. It's kind of stupid if you ask me, but oh well. A lot of people do it to make the pain go away, and I don't see how that helps. It just gives you physical scars on top of your emotional ones. I was picked on a lot in school. I had a small class of just 23 people in the entire 7th grade. My best friend moved away, and the 8th grader I was friends with the year before graduated, so I had no one left. I really, really loved cats, and people would pick on me all the time for my cat obsession. So much so that they meowed at me when I walked down the halls. There was a guy at lunch who would pretend to whisper to his friend so that I thought he was talking about me, and girls would talk about my clothes, which were bought at Wal*Mart due to my mom's lack of money, behind my back. I was literally the only girl in the whole class who didn't get invited to one girl's sleepover, and there was a girl in the class who thought it was okay to boss me around. If I knocked something over, she wouldn't even give me a chance to bend down before she said, "Pick it up!" I was going to, dumbdumb... =3= I always the last one picked in gym. The fat girl who couldn't run to save her life was picked before me, and that's just 'cause she actually had friends. I started taking extra long in the bathroom so that I wouldn't have to go back to class, and I started craving lunch detentions so that I could sit by myself. I went home in tears almost every day. I think the only thing that kept me from cutting was the fact that my family would miss me if I was gone. And I intended to cut to die, not just cut to bleed. I made a speech about teen suicide in my speech class my 10th grade year, and a boy from my old 7th grade class was there. He said, "I knew you were unhappy at that school, but I didn't they you were that unhappy." This boy is my friend now, but he made no effort to be nice to me my 7th grade year.

Ah, that would make sense. Riven's family is wealthy so that's why he acts so uppidy XD But he chooses not to spend his inheridence like a normal rich kid. I know boys don't usually cut themselves seeing as it's a girl thing. Jamie cuts because he feels guilty for what he's done to his best friend and younger sister, Charlie. Her close childhood friend just died and Jamie had to leave for Magix otherwise his enrollment would be terminated. He had no choice really, but he feels like he let everyone down where he's from and doesn't believe in anorexia or burning would help. Dear God, I thought I had a bad year. I take it back, I feel so sorry for you, but I'm glad you're better now. I had some of the same experiences too. I was always picked last during p.e. and I had to sit myself at a table my class was assigned to (we had a uniform class, which means everyone's in the same academic classes except electives and I had no friends in those classes either). That boy sounds really nice now, I'm glad he's your friend ^^
