so i know a bunch of you have been waiting to see this coloured. well, here it is
i was able to get the Norse colouring god Espen to colour this picture. i enjoy the way it turned out.
i told Espen that he has what a call "juicy colours". i wish to learn how to color like this. maybe one day.
anyways, this is my take on the new look for the transformers that idw had created for their new ongoing comic.
the original designs were done by Don Figueroa, i just changed the faces on them. i still like the designs Don came up with, i just didn't want to draw the movie style face. been drawing movie style bots way too long now.
oh, i gotta say i really like hotrods new look. he's really freakin sweet.

I have to say I'm really impressed with the new look Don Figeuroa has given The Autobots. They make me wish the movie versions looked like this because they have that technological "down to the finest detail feel, but also still have a humanoid look as well. All in all your lines are awesome and really true to the new art direction. Well done

What can I say but...WOW!! It's not just the designs that I love, but that even on the 'bots with no facial features (except the eyes), the attitude and emotion still come through. Nice job.
