Description
So this has to be my favourite project I have worked on for IDW
I've never had as much fun or creative freedom as I had with this project.
It truly was a blend of all the things I wanted to work on for a comic. It was a great Sci-fi/horror story, but also a tale of a character who is trying to find her place in the universe and being persecuted for who she is and where she's from.
It was just so much fun to work on. I'm also overjoyed that I got to design and name the new character of Stardrive. I came up with many choices, but everyone really liked Stardrive. It's even better since her name is a Star Trek reference to the star drive section of the Enterprise D.
Anyways, here is a look at the cover.
I'm joined once again by my partner in crime Josh Perez who also provided the colors for the interiors on this 5 issue mini series

I should be blown away by the awesome transformer and space knight imagery, but instead I find myself asking "WHY IS A BEAR HERE?!" XD

I absolutely love your depiction of ROM and the SpaceKnights (I can't imagine how cool you'd make the classic Marvel SpaceKnights look). While I'm someone who advocates for a separation of the TFs from the other Hasbro properties, I admit this was a really good story.

I think it was one of the properties that can actually work for a crossover or the expanded universe since it deals with a alien space fairing civilization that the Transformers can come across when they travel the galaxy. It just makes it easier then trying to shoe horn in something like mask or GI Joe and stuff like that.
