so the final issue of regin of starscream hits the comic shelf on the 27th of August, and chris has put up a 5 page preview over on the idw forums.this is one of the pages i wanted to put up because i liked the way it turned out.

LOL! Sorry XD I'm going for Dragon Con to scout for artists. Sometimes we find artists and license them for costumes. We have Brom's license right now, and Olivia with Betty.
The people at my comics store are alright. I think I'm the only female who ever goes in there. There's always a brown dog in there, he's cute and follows me around.

Nice composition
I also like the panel border design, gives that complete mech look that keeps the page fitting. And also, I never got the swirls on the allspark, is that a design element, or are those like battle scratches? I'm guessing design, but your version looks like battle scars.

all the markings on the allspark are design elements and icons in the transformer movie language. there was too much detail in it to fully draw it all in the comic page.

Eh I am not gonna lie.. this isn't one of my favorites. The main problem is that its far too busy and nothing really stands out. All the details are blended in together and it makes it hard on the eyes to try to discern things.

i took the movie arcee pic i had, the toy she's based on, and the cartoon and combined them into what you see.

just the face, but all the rest is the toy with some modifications. i wanted most of the cybertron characters who are female to have a similar face with slight changes to it. it could be worse, i could have just drawn the toy

You and that amazing three-point perspective thing... I cannot WAIT to get my grubby paws on this comic. It's the artwork that draws me into the Transformers universe these days, and it's yours particularly (along with your colorist, of course!) that really makes me excited for each new story that IDW publishes. And I am very excited about this one - The Great Machiavellian One has always been among my favorite characters. Three cheers for megalomania!
