Description
Mandelbulb 3D v1.7.9.7 TestFileBoardIFS/AmazingBox/SierpHilbert
The new Diffuse map settings - used here - certainly give a much crisper rendering of map details,
but it's nice to have the option of reverting to the older lighting model.
Fullview please....

You're very welcome! It's always nice to meet someone on dA who really keeps the 3D spirit alive!!!
But there's one thing I need to know:
What kind of software is this you're using? Is there some compositing work in postproduction, or is that software (or your pc ) actually capable of managing such giant scenes?
Cause when I look at it, I sort of get the feeling "Don't try this at home"

I use a 3D fractal program called Mandelbulb 3D, which you
can d/l from: [link]
I'd recommend doing some tut's to get a feel for it though,
as it can be a bit tricky to get the hang of!
Go to the 'Tutorials and Resources' folder in
and try the 3 excellent tuts by Hal Tenny.
All the best Rho!

what a landscape...to think that it was done with fractals - wow! But then again, I heard that nearly everything in nature has a fractal pattern to it

Master of Masters
Geo says what, any aviator actor knows, rushed from intensification of life discovers to the superficial surprise of no one,
that, there are places, many many places in the universes, where gravitational molecular variances allow chunks of the earths to float!
To us, we are stunned , yes, but accustomed to it! It is normal!
Diagnosis Criteria : Compositionality : unbalanced but counter weights modulating the tense pictoriality : data: background sky-backdrop lofty blue refreshing to us : Modulating simulations works! What we like about the concept is : on the upper right of the picture frame, the sunlight shines down casting light on the geometrusity, so realistically, enticing us to visit on this rock block, and to do so, it will be one small step for man, one giant irreversible step into Fractaland, but, he who has gone inside before, falls in love with this world, created out of the Artists mind, and never wants to leave , never want to come out, never want to come home!
The way the Master, conceptualized the imagery, confounds both the senses eye, to mind, and the mind to mankind visually!
We also like the way the sunshine, shines on the secondary structures, a mile away down on the left side of the picture frame,
Here, we can tell, by the way light is falling on it, the intensity of the power of the lights spectrum, of the sunlights intensity, is less intense, compared to the light on the upper right of the pictoriality!
The light has intermixed, with the saturated air particles, giving it that misty atmospheric look, making this work ultra amazing to witness, truly awesome!
We, also like how the Master, visualizes the geometrusity, in just the right point of view, to make it appear, that we too, are up there too, in the mountains of boulders, peeking out from behind the floating rocks in the air : Actually, we would kind of like to stay up there! : Wouldn't every one ? : Astoundingly, he who creates, actually does : translate : data : There in the vastness of space are some-someones, who unknowing creates, and natures on seeing that creation, re-creates it, and does so in a reality , somewhere in a dimension, located in one of the universes : Somewhere : The day will come that this will be known : data colors : data : lights filters in from the upper right : with delight : We are in the cool shadows thresholds, away from the glaring brite sunlight, and on our bottom left corner of the picture frame, we are looking down at our home town, far away down some 5 miles down-below, at lease the trickery of the eye makes it appear so, But when you observe, well, however, you will see, thats not true, but an eye to mind pattern recognitional optical illusion has taken place : data: Nevertheless its an awesome view. Thank you, we do!
Walk ye, with the force as always Master!

I use a 3D fractal program called 'Mandelbulb 3D', it's available for
free D/L from: [link] - enjoy, and thanks!
