Description
Mandelbulb 3D v1.9.0 ALPHA1DEcombinate in Min mode using: SphereHeightMap/_invspherical/_PolyFold-sym/ABoxPlatinum/Sierpinski3/_boxtiling/_reciprocalY3
No particular back story with this one I'm afraid folks - although I hope it may set some imaginations running out there?
I really wanted to get a feeling of movement, and a sense of edging slowly into a potentially hazardous situation with this piece....
You can now view an interactive 360º Panoramic version of 'Infiltration' on my website at: markjaybeefractal.com/infiltra… Enjoy!
A larger version of this piece can be viewed, and prints ordered at: markjaybeefractal.com/infiltra…

you should add a high resolution version. Is this in cinemascope (aspect ratio)? That works well for these sort of shots.

As I state in the description, you can view a larger version by clicking the
link to my website? I no longer put high res images on dA, as I sell
prints based on 4000x2000 images through my site too.
Glad you like it, and thanks for commenting!

Where do you get all of those fractal types in Mandlebulber? I have 2 versions and just the standard types. Is there a menu?

Just to be clear Aaron; I use 'Mandelbulb3D' - 'Mandelbulber' is a completely different program!
But assuming you do mean MB3D, you should download v1.8.9x2 from:
www.fractalforums.com/index.ph… where you'll find every current fractal formula included.
There is also a Beta version - v1.9.0 ALPHA1 - the .exe can simply be added to your main MB3D folder.
See: www.fractalforums.com/beta-tes…
All the best, and good luck!

For more info on Mandelbulb3D Aaron, check out the group I run here on dA.
Particularly the 'Tutorials and Resources' folder?

Your art really is amazing though, i love futuristic/alien landscapes, and fractal geometry, wich you seem to enjoy using

I particularly like the lighting and background in this one. The perspective definitely gives a 'potentially hazardous' vibe - the mechanical structures make me think of Voyager infiltrating the Borg, hehe.

Thanks Chris! 'Fraid the ST universe wasn't an influence here, more the
amazing - and sadly late - Iain M. Banks's 'Culture' novels.
