Description A re-imagining of an earlier piece.Β Whether one believes in such things or not, the Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) has been considered serious enough to scramble fighter planes in defense of American air space on more than just a few occasions in the 1950s and 1960s. In fact, it even occurs in modern times. In this depiction an F-84F Thunderstreak fighter jet of the Ohio National Guard, after being scrambled, catches up with the bogie which was earlier spotted on radar. The pilot will have one heck of a tale to tell. This print is a tribute to all those perfectly serious accounts by professionals in the cockpit who have encountered something in the sky which defies rational explanation. Prints are available through my website, www.markkarvon.net.

Also look up...
12 Gov documents that take UFO's Seriously (on a search engine)
Its a list of reports, memos, ect. that seem to be dealing with various sightings that are obviously real and unexpected and rather puzzling.

UFO's have messed with various countries over time. The foo fighters of WW2 among many other cases. In other cases, objects have appeared on radar as well, though basically almost every time they end up disappearing or just evading everything with impossible speed and maneuvers. If they are truly objects piloted by aliens or some very advanced prototypes of some other country or break away human civilization, who knows. Richard Dolan has written some interesting books on this topic.Β Jacques VALLEEΒ is an interesting researcher on this too. He's a computer scientist and has written a few books. But he has a slightly different take on the topic though still intriguing.

I agree and those professionals report that the encountered something that could not identify ergo the 'U'. But I do not recall very many of them going so far as to make the unsupportable leap to declare what they saw to be 'evidence of extraterrestrials' for the simply reason these are well educated and highly trained people who rely on hard evidence not subjective beliefs.

True. No professional has gone that far. They have however, made statements that the unidentified flying object would appear to be under intelligent control. Most are easily explainable but there is that small percentage of cases that cannot be explained. It is a mystery.Β

Star Trek TOS even has its own UFO encounter in which the Enterprise is the unidentified flying object, following a mishap which sent it back to the late 1960s.
