Description
As everyone knows, the Norse were great travellers. So, I can imagine a situation like that... A Viking warrior confronted with a Samurai warrior far in the Eastern at an indefinite time.
It would be interesting to know what such a duel would give, using two totally different fighting techniques.

Il y avait une émission de télé (américaine) qui faisait ce genre combat "improbable" (tu avais des trucs du genre guerrier Maori contre Ninja). Et je me demande s'ils n'en ont pas fait un sur Viking contre Samouraï.
En tout cas, Viking contre Samouraï, est probablement le moins improbable, car comme tu dis les Vikings étaient de grands voyageurs. J'avais même vu dans un documentaire qu'ils avaient découvert des statuettes de bouddha dans des tombes Viking.

Dabei muss ich jetzt an das Spiel "For Honor" (auch wenn ich es nie gespielt habe) denken.
Eine Tolle Szene, sehr schöne Posen und der Nebel ist auch sehr stimmungsvoll!

Das sieht nach einem epischen Kampf aus. Aber... wenn sie etwa gleich gut sind... wird der Wikinger gewinnen. Er brauch nur einen Schlag mit dem Schild zu parieren und und den Abstand zu reduzieren, dann hat der Samurai keine Chance gegen die Axt. Schwerter sind überbewertet.

Da kanst du recht haben. Aber der Katana ist sehr lang, und die kampf technik vom Samourai ist anders als was der Vikinger kent.
Dieser kampf werd nicht lange dauern, die ersten Sekunden sind entscheidend.

Très jolie scène et idée aussi, un duel entre un samourai et un guerrier viking fallait y penser
Le fond gris qui fait pensé à de la brume le matin -petit clin d'oeil aux films japonais- c'est du grand art !

La disposition des personnages aide aussi à cela vu que les icones de mon bureau sont divisé en deux parties, le viking n'est pas noyé par les icones et le samourai aussi

Brilliant image! Already the pairing of Northman vs Samurai gives the scene a mystic touch, intensified by the fog and the light reflecting from the - naturally different - weapons. Great background, too. Very impressive.
