i like the second one best. but the directer has final say .but it is realy great that you shared this with your watchers . .,so we know that even the best sculpters have to bewilling to redo there work over and over for the client. it gets frustrating whin someone is not happy with your creations, but its something that one must get use to.so tnks for sharing

DA's great like that. There's lots of professional comic book artists for DC/Marvel here as well.

this somehow feels different tho yanno.
like thats what most illustrators aspire to, comic art..... and you think well obviously the best guys are gunna be working in comics.
but mark actually designed something for a film! 
its kind of because im into animation .... and you very rarely see animators on deviantart who actually worked on films just students reallly.

Wow, I can't believe you made the maquettes for the Spiderwick films @_@ This is rather wonderful, I love the character and expression :3 The hair detail is lovely too. It musta taken you ages to detail all those teeth @_@

It's cool to see the developement from version 1 to this one. Despite it being creepy, I do like the first one best personally, there was something in it that was special. Though I haven't seen the movie, I can understand why the director would want a friendlier version. (I think.)
The eyes in this one are sparkly though, like he's happy to see me. It's cute in its... weirdness. (But I still wouldn't hug it, haha.)
