I know this sounds like an ad for laundry detergent, but how do you get your whites so white? Is that the paper or chalk? Really great work you do!

No worries, it's all careful advance planning. Although blending can mess up whites i use a soft touch so i can erase back to white. Any seen whites are the paper .. cheers

Thank you, the fabric whites are a little bright in this scan ... The drawing looks more ballanced so it does need rescanning at some point. Glad you like it.

Awesome! Hair come alive! If not a secret, how many hours you spent on this work?
And than you shade drawings that such soft and gentle transitions from tone to tone turn out.
