Wow. I'm bowled over by this, mainly because your attention to detail doesn't fade in any area. There's always something to look at and appreciate, especially the detail round the top button of the shirt, the eyes and the front of the hair. Top notch

Thanks, i'm glad because i wasn't really sure how i was going to texture it when i started. The low res scan has softened it out a little and it's lost a little texture but it turned out better than i thought it would.Β

wonderful pencil work Mark, as usual it's very realistic, but also you've captured a great sense of mood in this, he looks deeply reflective and the eyes looking up together with the light from the unseen window (in my mind) seem to make the portrait even more magnificent and uplifting.Β
