What a coincidence! I'm listening to a Tom Waits playlist (currently playing "The Piano Has Been Drinking") as I discovered this piece. You really managed to capture the atmosphere of his milieu. ^_^

The lighting on the hand is really stark - a strong stage light maybe? Also interesting pool of light on the forehead and great texture in the jacket

Yeah, I found 2 different versions of the same original photo ref - I chose to do the light version as it has more 'pop' and has a nice defined style.
