Pencil on A4 Smooth Bristol. W.I.P for this can be found in my wip folder. Image cropped from a pic from google images, i lost the link to the reference used.Skin tutorial ..

A worthy DD Mark..... its not often that drawings are really acknowledged in the art world, so its nice to see they are here... ....i look forward to getting one myself......in maybe 10 years time...lol

I am afraid that the eyes of old people are more foggy and blurred.These are crystal clear that you can see the sky

Thank you, yes the eyes are usually more foggy as you quite rightly point out but these eyes are as they are on the reference so to have changed them would not have been true to the original. It was the eyes that made me want to do this one when i first saw it and i cropped the image to focus on them. The utmost care was spent in rendering them to be a close to the original as poss. I wish i still had it as i would really love to credit the photograph to it's rightful owner.

Yes, i imagined that the reference was like this but a photo can be manipulated and edited.So i doubt that in real life the live model had such clear eyes. Anyway your job overall is excellent.Bravo!

I think that image will stick with me for a very long time. The eyes look into you, and every wrinkle tells a story. Perfect, simply perfect.

Oh my goodness. The details and textures in this piece are soo... wow. How do you even DO that! I also love how, even though you've clearly spent time working on every aspect, the eyes just immediately draw you in.
