To quote from Ralph Bakshi "I wouldn't leave Disney to DO Disney". QFC is the perfect example on why you shouldn't mimic Disney for the sake of profit.

It was a good movie to watch, if you see only as entertaining comedy, but plotwise, it was just so poorly done, probably because, by what the critic said, it was intended to "stare down" Disney cartoons, therefore they weren't paying attention to originality.
If anyone wants an "original" explanation, I'm know the critic does, here's an idea to "explain" why the forest is as it was in the movie:
A meteor containing an alien lifeform crashes into a large forest, which would become "The Forbidden Forest".
This alien is a plant that grows out of control across the entire forest.
it's blood, sap, or whatever you want to call it, transforms a majority of the forest life into sentient creatures while small lizards evolved into the supposedly highly intelligent dragons.
Thousands of years later, I would guess over 9,000 or so

I cant beleve that Song The Prayer by Celion Dion on that NOT EVEN CLOSE, i mean Enya and LOTR Matched up well.
I mean the Preayer and Quest for Camalot Dont match up well, imagine if my favotite manga Tv show Cardcaptors use That song as a Tribute that would work.

the critc is funny and the review was funny but i think he is too dam harsh about the movie. it was one of my favs as a kid, it is lame but its not TERRIBLE.
its SO funny because its so lame. NC needs to lighten up.

Like some people in the comments have mentioned, this movie is a guilty pleasure of mine; really, Cornwall and Devon are the only characters that make the movie for me, along with the good animation with a couple of the songs.
I honestly find it very funny whenever the Nostalgia Critic reviews movies from my childhood, because I like it whenever he makes fun of things that I like.
I'd really like to see Doug review the Land Before Time II, but knowing there has already been a huge collab done on reviewing those films, I don't think he will any time soon.

I like it, and it expresses my feelings about this piece of shit movie. After watching the review, I went and found Quest for Camelot just to see if it was as bad as the Critic said... and it was, if not worse. Damn those drive by musical numbers! GAH!!!
