The heart in the bottom corner is Teloka's creation.
Well, this is one of two trade pics for Teloka, 'cause I took a lot of liberties with this one (namely: world consuming noodle hair)
Rekkar is totally cool, and an awesome artist! Check her out!
Teloka is fantastic and squees a lot. You know you want to meet her!
I had to dismantle my gel-pen and paint it on with a dry pen nib. I'm going pen hunting this weekend in the city!

OMG YES! One time I was drawing a picture of Evan and Jasper (characters of Rekkar and myself, they're gay lions, but really adorable.) at a school sports carnival, and these boys came over and were being REALLY obnoxious "OMG THEY'RE DOGS. NO, THEY'RE RATS! ARE THEY KISSING? THEY'RE MAKING OUT!" and they were vaguely close to each other and cuddling. xDD and I really wanted to whack the boys. ohwell! xD I whack Rekkar until she draws me stuff. But she's love like that. xD
ok! ^^ I need to find a way to get yours laminated now, I may have to pay for it up at the school 'coz I don't want to ask my friend to do any more laminating for me. XD but then I'll get a package or something for it, so I can find a way to send it safely without it getting damaged. ^^

How do you approach this style? Do you do an ink drawing, watercolor wash, colroed pencil, then gel highlights? It's so vibrant and rich in color!

Oh wow this looks so pretty, your talent at coloring with traditional mediums so flawlessly is incredibly impressive. The detail on the hair is amazing, how you've done each of the strands, and highlighted them too. I love how you've composed this as well, with the characters at opposite ends of the image, and how the image itself isn't very wide. Great work

I can never get over how much color you put into your images, and different colors at that. Being a complete color whore I always love the sharpness and contrast of your pieces, as always very beautiful work.
