Since I've been asked lots of times to do tutorials.. here you have one
I hope it will help you guys somehow with digital impressionism. The program used was Photoshop CS3 Extended so the explanations are based on it. Here you have the illustration of which I've done the tutorial:

Something that I have been interested in since i was about seven is impressionism. I really love these digital paintings of yours and this tutorial is great. Hopefully I will be able to get more paint (and plenty of extra time) soon and try this for myself with acrylics since Photoshop is a bit out of my budget...

The next day after seeing this tutorial, I thought to myself, "I know I won't be able to even get past the first step, but I'm bored and have nothing else to do, so why not try anyway?". Turns out, I surprised myself a lot, and thanks to you, I feel like I have a little renaissance of my own happening within my artistic self confidence! So that's how you do it! I didn't understand the digital part at ALL. I'm a doodler and a writer, not really a drawler, though I doo do a few pictures when I get bored. Thanks a LOT!
