One does well not to incur the wrath of Imperial Corsairs. In their service to the throne and those chosen lords who contract them, they are loyal and diligent. But in their pursuit of dishonored foes and traitors, the corsair fleets are relentless.
By the right granted to them before the law of the Imperium, upholding the sanctity and security of their contracts is the Corsair’s highest priority, shared by every fleet. Be it the Corsair Fleet of Tallysobar, the Grand Fleet of Nakai, or the Hunhir Clan, none will suffer the insolence of a contract unfulfilled. Should a lord call upon their service and dare betray that bond, no other true corsair of the code will protect them.
A few lesser lords of Tir made this mistake more than a century ago, and to this day, their estates have been kept in ruin, a reminder of the punishment for a price not paid.
