Description
Finally seeing the light of day is my collaboration with my buddy Fire-Tisane [link]On the left hand side we have Bison, as drawn and coloured by Fire-Tisane, to see the original penciled version go here: [link] His colouring job and the way he's interpreted his Bison is just awesome and I love it, great stuff. Love that giant energy ball that Bison has in his hand.
On the right hand side is my Geese Howard, and I'm a big fan of Fatal Fury, so this was a lot of fun to draw one of the greatest villains in gaming history. You can check out the original image here: [link]
To commemorate this piece, I was able to find an image of a bloody dogo for our great confrontation to take place. Very appropriate to the epic feel, a battle like this would encompass.
I picture the battle would go something like this, Geese would launch his Deadly Wind Attack, for which Bison would grin, as he Knee Press Nightmare over it, and went immediately to a Psycho Crusher. Geese would himself grin, thinking that he has finally suckered Bison to come to him, as he unleashes his Raging Storm attack for oncoming Bison. Bison seeing this, would then fly up above the Raging Storm and prepare to deliver a head stomp on Geese.....and it would probably go on like this for a long time, back and forth, with neither really gaining an advantage, lol.

We all know Geese would beat Bison for sure, Now Geese VS Ash Crimson, THAT is a fight I'd Like to see (Even though Ash would probably get killed in a fraction of a second, then bled dry, at which point Geese mops up said individual's spilled blood with his own rotten corpse) lol

hahahaha, I'd be more worried about what happens, when a Psycho Crusher connects with a Raging Storm, lol....

Maybe, if we're lucky, they'll wipe each other out, lol. Best case scenario, they'll weaken each other enough for either Ryu or Terry to come and finish off whoever is left standing, lol....

Think carefully. Bison is more of a powerhouse, very strong moves and good speed, but most of his moves leave him open. Geese, on the other hand, is a more balanced an versatile character, good at both long range and close range. Geese can counter every one of Bison's moves: Psycho Ball, Geese uses a Double Reppuken, which nullfies the projectile then sends a single Reppuken on Bison; Psycho Crusher, Geese Atemi-Nages it; Knee Press, Geese Atemi-Nages it; Head Stomp, Geese Atemi-Nages it; Knee Press Nightmare, Geese blocks then either Raging Storm, Rashoumon or Deadly Rave; The same goes for Hyper Psycho Crusher and Ultra Psycho Crusher.

Hey jrcarter, you mean in terms of the artwork or in terms of the actual fight between Geese and Bison?

Awwww man, why is everybody siding with Bison in a fight against Geese, lol? Where's the love for Geese? Come on guys, this dude tormented both Terry and Andy Bogard....and on top of that, he also tormented Ryo and Robert from the Art of Fighting series.
That's probably something people don't know is, that the Art of Fighting games (set in the 1970's) are actually a prequel to the Fatal Fury series (set in the 1990's).

Wicked stuff man, but in a fight between the bosses I would have to give it to M.Bison.

Oh come on now Alvaro, really Bison?! Is it because I know you're a Capcom fanboy, lol. I love both Capcom and SNK, so I ain't biased, and I still think Geese could take out Bison, any day of the week, lol.

Man, you don't have to tell me twice about how great Bison is in Capcom vs. SNK 2, lol. You're preaching to the converted man, I use Bison like a evil fiend against other players. Most of my buddies, just put the controller down, if they see him in my group, lol. Same goes for Joe Higashi, they just don't want to fight anymore after that, cause they know what the end result is gonna be.
I honestly, would love to learn to master Geese, as a character, but his move list is unwieldly and difficult.
This is Geese's Raging Storm super move. There is no way, I'm executing this in the middle of a fight: Down/backward, half circle back, down/forward + LP or NP or HP
The scariest thing, is his Deadly Rave super move, it's even more insane and borderline impossible to execute, lol: Half circle back, forward + LK, LP,
LP, LK, LK, NP, NK, HP, HK and then down, down/backward, backward + HP

The thing with M.Bison in CVS2 he's practically great with every groove, except for S-Groove, but that's a crappy groove to begin with.
As for Geese, he's got great priority on some of his stronger hits, like standing HK or jumping HK. But I find his moves are too complicated when you can use guys like Kyo and Blanka and get great if not greater results without all the complications.

Marvin000 In reply to MindMage [2010-01-02 15:29:57 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, whenever I use Bison, I'm usually using the C groove pretty much 99% of the time, no fail. I just love the ability to either use a level 1 or a level 3 super, whenever I want to.
Personally speaking, I find that certain characters are meant to be master skill level characters. And Geese is one of those characters, that if you're really dang good, you can be terrifying with his move set.

Totally agree with you on that, plus Geese is a demon in Snk vs Capcom Chaos, he's got an infinite in that game. D

Oh the infinite combo exploits, lol. I remember the good old days, when we first discovered Iori's infinite combo in KOF 97. Man, did we abuse it on the computer, lol.

Same here, it's fun to see how each different artist approaches a subject matter, and to see the varied results.
Plus having another artist around, especially one as good as Fire-Tisane, I'm always forced to bring my A game, cause there's a chance he's gonna one up me, lol.
