Few months ago I saw fractal works here on DA I didn't like it so much but when I saw my friend ~Salamah-Bin-Akwa amazing fractals I change my mind. Now I started to learn how to make a fractal. It looks a very hard work and I don't know if I can make it someday or not.Anyway this is my first attempt. Tell me your true opinion and anybody can help me to make a better fractals please help me

Fractal is images created with fractal generating software. Fractal artwork consists of images created using complex mathematical equations compiled in programs such as Ultra Fractal, Apophysis, Fractal Explorer, and Chaoscope. These programs are dedicated to formulas that cannot be easily explained using traditional geometry. Fractal images traditionally represent self repeatability, in that they can be zoomed in an infinite amount of times without losing their overall shape, or are comprised of smaller versions of the overall image.

Spectacular work! You are on a road to success dear brother! I really like how you made it look like branches laden with beautifully colored flowers. Such a cute looking fractal for a first time attempt. Now dont worry about it any more, this is perfect for the first time attempt. So tell me, which part of it was the most difficult one and let me know if you need any help with that one....!

thanks my bro. for the great support, I used ultrafractal 3 to make this one. my problem now is I really can't remember all the steps I used to make it its a lot of numbers every where and I'm new with it, but I will try to learn it fast. thanks again

Oh yup! Its all about numbers and not just a few numbers.... every thing is numbers. The colors, the coloring alogrithms, the transformations and formulas. Why dont you save the parameters? From what you mention, it appears like you are not saving the parameters. If it is so then while you haveopened a fractal, press ctrl+A and then it will ask for the filename and location. Give it and save it. Parameters are not images, they are the same numbers that you are trying to remember. Each time you will open the parameters, the fractal will open at the stage where you left it. Also, in one file, you can store more than one parameters, there is not limit.

Hmmm! There are many extension that UF uses. Three of four are that you will be using most.
*.upr is called "parameter file" it contains all the numbers that make your fractal.
*.ucl is called "coloring alogrithm" and contains instructions about how to color your fractal.
*.ufm is called "fractal formulas" and it too contains mathematics that define the basic shape of your fractal.
*.ugr is called "color gradient" and it is the color file that you used to color your fractal.

oh man! i think this is great! i dnt no how fractuals work but i do no this looks fabulous! the colours are really effective! and excellent compositional work too! great job hun!
