This is a shot from my trip to Iceland back in March.

Posted before as

However after I calibrated my monitor, I realized that this image was way darker and way way way more blue than I originally intended. So I went back and made the snow actually look more like snow and re-edited the shot with a proper calibration.

I like the edit very much...now that I've been in the calibrated monitor world for a couple of years, it's frustrating thinking how many people are viewing our work without a calibrated monitor, huh?

Thanks! Yea I knew the original was blue, but I didnt realize just how blue it actually was. I figured I needed to make the colors more realistic and I am quite pleased with what came out of the edit.

I cant believe I ever did any editing at all without a calibrated monitor and yes, the thought that others might not be viewing my work the way they should kinda sucks.

Thanks! we were driving through heavy fog, then it lifted (actually you can still see it in the background) and we were greeted with this beautifully colorful sunset.
