Description (Kopa meets Fuli, Bunga, Beshte, and Ono and reunites with his family)
After bringing Fuli, Bunga, Beshte, Ono, and Kopa together, the entire scene of Kion’s meeting with them goes on as originally.

Kion (pointing to Kopa after when Ono says it’s common knowledge that Lions are fierce,): “Before I show you guys the Roar, Fuli, Bunga, Beshte, Ono, I want to introduce you guys to this old friend of mine.”

(Fuli, Bunga, Beshte, and Ono all look at Kopa who is by Kion’s side)

Beshte: “What is your name, young Lion?”

Kopa: “I am Kopa.”

Ono (with sudden realization after studying Kopa closely): “By the looks of you, you’re a Pride Lander.”

Kopa: “You got that correct, Beshte. And as shocking as it may sound, guys, I’m not just an old friend of Kion’s. I’m also his and Kiara’s big brother.”

(Fuli, Beshte, Bunga, and Ono’s eyes get huge as they are all very astonished that they are in the presence of Kiara and Kion’s big brother)

Beshte: “Well, if that is true, then where have you been all this time, Kopa?”

Kopa (Although feeling a little uncomfortable at first) : “Zira.”

(Kopa shows Beshte, Ono, Bunga, and Fuli his vertically cut in half eyebrow)

Ono (with great shock): “Zira. So that’s how that part of your eyebrow is missing.”

Kion (addressing Ono, Beshte, Fuli, and Bunga with Kopa still by his side): “Yes, guys. She’s why my big brother Kopa has been absent all this time. Zira eventually attacked Kopa in cold blood while he was alone and gave him up for dead. While all of his injuries have vanished, this part of his eyebrow was cut in half, and it’s yet to grow back out, but only time will tell. I am willing to give my big brother Kopa a chance to join us on the Lion Guard. He said it’s because he sees this as an opportunity to have lots of friends and company, and he also wishes an end to Zira’s journey on the Circle of Life as much as I do.”

(Fuli, Bunga, Beshte, and Ono are all very astonished at the story that Kion just explained)

Beshte (with a smile after a moment of thinking): “Well, Kion, if you trust him, then that’s good enough for me. Like my dad always says, ‘Live long enough, and you’ll see everything.’”

Ono: “Affirmative.”

Fuli: “Yeah.”

Beshte (turning back to Kion): “Now, about your roar.”

Kion: “If you want to hear and see it, then get behind me.”

(After Fuli, Bunga, Beshte, Ono, and Kopa get behind Kion, Kion then unlike originally thanks to Kopa’s encouragement unleashes the Roar of the Elders which really astonishes the entire group)

Bunga: “Un-Bungalievable!”

Fuli: “Yeah.”

Kopa (with a happy grin): “I know, right?”

(Just at that moment, Zazu arrives followed by Simba, Kiara, and Tifu)

Zazu: “I found him, Your Highness! Kion is over here!”

Simba (As Kiara and Tifu leave): “Kion, Kiara tells me you’ve asked Bunga to join the Lion Guard. Is this true?”

Kion answers: “Yes.”

Simba (unlike originally and with curiosity): “Kiara’s also told me that you got to look up an old friend. May I ask who, please?”

(Kion holds out his right paw in a presentation like gesture as he moves it in a way where he’s saying, “Come here”, he reveals Kopa who steps forward)

Simba (as his eyes get very big and gasps with shock upon seeing Kopa): “I don’t believe it.” (Turning back to Kion with great amazement) “You found your big brother Kopa?”

Kion answers: “I did.”

Simba (asking Kopa): “Are you for real...?”

Kopa (as he nods his head and opens his paws up in an offer of a hug like gesture as he is overcome with emotion): “Come here, Dad.”

(Without wasting a second, Simba pulls Kopa into a very tight hug as Kopa buries his head into Simba’s mane and Kopa feels Simba’s paws very tightly around his back)

Kopa (as he and Simba both have emotional tears running down their cheeks): “I’ve really missed you, Dad.”

Simba: “I’ve really missed you too, Kopa my son. I can’t believe I got you back.”

(After a minute, they break apart)

Kiara (so overcome with emotion at seeing her big brother and squealing with joy and running up to Kopa): “Kopa!”

(Kopa and Kiara share a very big tight hug)

Kopa: “I’ve really missed you, Kiara my little sister.”

Kiara: “I’ve really missed you too, Kopa my big brother. I can’t believe I got you back.”

(Having just heard the reunion Nala comes over to see what is going on, and she is shocked and overcome with emotion beyond compare at seeing her first son Kopa alive and well in the fur)

Nala (without wasting a second suddenly pulls Kopa into a very big tight hug as she and Kopa bawl on each other): “I’ve really missed you so much, Kopa my big boy.”

Kopa: “I’ve really missed you too, Mom.”

(Nala and Kopa and Kiara break apart)

Simba (turning to Kion with interest): “Where did you find Kopa, Kion?”

Kion: “At a special watering hole we would play at every chance we got.”

Simba (with very great wonder): “Wow. This is very amazing to see that you and Kopa finally started getting to know each other.”

Kiara (curious and wondering): “Kion, most importantly, why didn’t tell us our big brother Kopa was still alive?”

Kopa (stepping forward and before Kion can speak): “Because he was following my instructions.”

(Simba, Nala, and Kiara turn to Kopa with great astonishment and wonder)

Kopa: “I asked Kion to keep my survival along with my identity as your and Kion’s big brother a secret. I was afraid that if word of my survival got out, it would reach Zira as well who would want to finish what she started. That is why I told Kion I did not want him to tell you guys about my survival until the time was right.”

Simba (asking Kion another question with wonder again): “And that is why you’ve been addressing Kopa as on old friend?”

Kion: “Yes, Dad.”

Simba (asking Kopa noticing his slashed eyebrow): “And where did you get that?”

(That is because Simba has not seen Kopa get attacked and given up for dead before his body then disappeared without giving Simba any knowledge of his survival)

Kopa (Realizing that Simba is referring to his slashed eyebrow): “From Zira.”

(Simba, Nala, and Kiara’s eyes get bigger as Simba sees it all unfold before him)

Simba (with sudden realization): “Zira!”

Kiara: “So that’s why you lost a part of your eyebrow!”

Kion (addressing Simba and Kiara with Kopa by his side): “Yes, Dad and Kiara. She’s why our big brother Kopa here has been absent all this time. Zira eventually attacked Kopa in cold blood while he was alone and gave him up for dead. While all of his injuries have vanished as you can see, this part of his eyebrow was cut in half. Kopa said he had to sacrifice it so as to keep himself from getting any other sever injuries from Zira that would not vanish overtime. The slashed part of his eyebrow is yet to grow back out, but only time will tell. I have been willing to give my big brother Kopa here a chance to join me and my friends on the Lion Guard. He said it’s because he sees this as an opportunity to have lots of friends and company, and also because he wishes an end to Zira’s journey on the Circle of Life as much as I do.”

(Simba, Nala, and Kiara are very shocked at everything that Kion and Kopa just explained. While he was going to originally be appalled at who Kion had chosen to be members of his Lion Guard, but after everything that unfolded before him, Simba has nothing to say against it as he can see from there that Kion actually knows what he’s doing when it comes to who he’s picking to be members of his Lion Guard)

Simba (forming a smile of acknowledgement, trust, respect, understanding, and pride (positive pride): “Well, Kion, if you trust your big brother Kopa and your other friends here and you know what you’re doing regarding who you’ve decided to pick to be part of your Lion Guard, then that’s good enough for me.”

Simba (as he turns to leave): “Good luck, Kion.”

(Kion, Kopa, Fuli, Bunga, Beshte, and Ono are all very amazed at how the situation turned out to be)

Bunga: “Well, okay then.”
