What if Simba exiles only Zira in The Lion King
(Simba exiles only Zira who is in horror as she realizes her terrible treatment towards her cubs and followers have been exposed which means that her cubs and followers are staying as part of Simba’s Pride)

After Scar is defeated by Simba and devoured alive by Shenzi, Banzai, Ed, and their Hyena clan for betraying them, Simba becomes King. But then a group of Lions called the Outsiders led by a Lioness named Zira return.

ZIRA (blaming Simba for Scar’s death): You cannot rule the Pride Lands! Scar chose my son Kovu to be King.

SIMBA (shooting back): Scar was never the real King!

ZIRA (not listening to reason): How dare you!

With that, Zira attacks Simba. Of course, Simba wins quickly. But after that, Simba has no choice as he realizes what has to be done.

SIMBA: Zira, for your treasonous loyalty to Scar, false and quick accusations against me for the death of Scar, assault with intent to murder, and acts of mistreatment against innocent cubs and an entire Pride, you are hereby banished from the Pride Lands forever. Should you ever return, the punishment is death.

ZIRA: Fine! But you haven’t heard the last of me. (To the Outsiders) Let’s go, Lionesses.

But just as Zira is leaving to begin her sentence of exile, she suddenly does not hear the footsteps of her cubs and followers following her. And so, Zira turns around to see her cubs and followers still standing there with Simba, the Royal Family, and Simba’s Pride while Sarabi is cuddling Kovu and Vitani with Nuka standing next to her.

ZIRA (confused): Wait! What’s going on? Why are you guys not coming?

LIONESS (originally a member of the Outsiders): The rest of us were not given the punishment. Just you.

ZIRA: What are you talking about?

SIMBA: You didn’t hear? Before you and your followers returned, I got reports from some select members of my family as well as from one of your own about the way you’ve been treating your cubs and followers.

ZIRA: Okay, so what does my followers have to do with this?

SARABI: Well, technically, you treat your followers terribly.

NUKA: Mostly me, especially when you and Scar had been treating me like garbage and calling me sick. And while Sarabi is a Pride Lander by birth, she’s already twice my mother than you ever were.

IMANI: Not to mention that after becoming completely devoted in your worship of Scar, you always pushed me away to the point where I could no longer continue to be your best friend and ground of reason.

NALA: So, what my mate, and Nuka, and my mother in law and Imani mean is that we just decided to let your cubs and followers remain as part of the Pride.

ZIRA: What?! But we’re allies of Scar!

SIMBA: Yes. But before you and the others returned, your ex-best friend Imani who wasn’t with you was very kind enough to share information with us on about all the terrible ways you’ve treated your family and followers after when we made a deal with her that we would not banish her and your family and your followers from the Pride Lands if she gave us the proof we needed even though we already agreed that banishing your family and followers along with you would not be a good idea nor a wise decision.

Zira is very shocked especially at Imani’s betrayal.

SIMBA (to Zira): And also, there’s going to be a little change in plans regarding where you will be banished to. Instead of the Outlands, you will be exiled to the Elephant Graveyard where the Hyena trio will get you help.

ZIRA: You’re not gonna sentence me to death, are you?

SIMBA: Of course not. There’s actually a loony bin in the Elephant Graveyard where all the animals who are nuts go there.

With that, Zira finds herself being pushed by Elephants 🐘 and Zebras 🦓 as they go to the Elephant Graveyard Loony Bin.

LIONESS: So, what now?

SIMBA: We get ready for the presentation of my and Queen Nala’s first cub which happens in a few months.
