Emily woke up one morning with a text from her girlfriend Sara. "We need to talk" it read. Immediately Emily's heart sank. Those words never meant anything good. She quickly went over to Sara's place to find out what was going on. Sara was sitting on her couch waiting for her. Emily noticed her red eyes from crying. "I'm so sorry to do this to you, you mean so much to me Emily. But I'm in love with someone else" said Sara before breaking down into tears. Emily's heart sank even deeper after hearing those words. How could she love someone else? Sara was her soulmate. She was thinking of proposing to her, and even revealing her secret. "I see" Emily muttered, a wild mix of emotions making even those 2 words nearly impossible to say. Sara looked up at her. "I know you're probably mad, and you have every right to be, but I hope we can work things out and maybe even remain friends. I just feel like Julia understands me more and..." Sara was immediately cut off by Emily. "Julia?!? You're leaving me for JULIA!?!!?!?!?!?" she yelled. Sara
was taken aback. She had never heard Emily yell in her life. "Yes, I know you and Julia never got along but..." Sara began to explain before being cut off again. "No, I'm not listening to another word Sara. You were the most important person in my life and just like that you leave me for a girl whose treated me horribly since middle school? How dare you!? How could you do this to me?!?!" Emily yelled, holding back tears. "I'm so sorry, Julia just respects me more. She listens to me more. We're just more compatible" Sara sputtered, still crying. All of a sudden Emily's face went blank. She looked directly at Sara. "I can live with you leaving me, Sara, but I cannot even fathom you and Julia being together. I won't allow it, mark my words" she said. Before Sara could respond Emily walked out, slamming the door behind her. Sara had no idea how Emily planned on keeping her and Julia apart, but it wouldn't be very long before she found out.

Sara had finally managed to calm down a bit after her confront with Emily. She was just about to call Julia when suddenly she felt lightheaded. She fell to the ground and felt a strange force that wouldn't let her move at all. She began to feel an intense muscle cramp all over her body. Her hands involuntarily formed into fists, her teeth clenched and her toes curled. She attempted to reach for her phone to call 911 but couldn't open her hands to grab it. The pain in her muscles got worse and she screamed in agony. About 10 seconds later it stopped, and she felt completely normal. "What the hell was that?" she thought to herself. Sara was still very concerned and decided it would be best to go to the hospital anyway just to find out what happened. But looking around she didn't see her living room she was just in. She was in a large open field with no trees, buildings or anything in sight. She looked at where she was resting her hand and noticed a peculiar grey patch with bright flickering lights. Squinting at it, she could barely make out... buildings? No, that was impossible, she must be dreaming. But it felt too real to be a dream. She noticed many more of the grey patches surrounding her. A small puddle was right beside her big toe, but the shape of it was very familiar. It quickly clicked, it was Lake Evergreen, she recognized it from maps. She had many dates on the beach there with Emily. Sara had no idea how, but she had somehow grew to an enormous size. About 200 miles tall by her estimate. "How the fuck" she whispered quietly, yet still deafeningly loud for the terrified and equally confused people below. Was this what Emily meant when she said she wouldn't allow her and Julia to be together? No way, that's impossible. "Oh, it's very much possible" said a voice in her head.

"What? Who said that?" Sara asked, looking around. "Who do you think, genius?" the voice replied. "Emily? Is that you? What's going on?" Sara asked. "Of course it's me. I was planning on telling you this eventually, but considering the events of today I suppose there's no better time than now. I'm a size altering goddess. I can change the size of anyone and anything, including you as I'm guessing you've found out. You also don't need to talk out loud. I have other powers beyond size altering, I can read your thoughts and I'm projecting these words into your mind. Pretty cool, huh? I was so excited to finally share this part of me with you, but then you decided to toss it all away to be with Julia" Emily explained. "I'm so sorry Emily, I'll be with you forever. Please change me back to normal, I'll never talk to Julia again" Sara pleaded. "Spare me your begging, that doesn't work on me. I literally just said I can read your thoughts, I know you still love Julia. And come on, you look great at that size. 200 miles really suits you. It's still nothing compared to how tall I am right now though" Emily bragged. Sara looked around again, but couldn't see Emily anywhere. "H-how tall are you?" she said, worried. "I'll be honest, I was never great at math, but let me put it this way: Your entire galaxy is being shadowed by my toes" Emily said.

Sara was awestruck. There was no way Emily was that big, right? "See for yourself" Emily said. She projected an image of herself into Sara's mind. "I've never been this big before. It's a power rush I gotta admit, holding an entire galaxy between your feet. Countless numbers of creatures at my mercy. Nobody has the ability to stop me or even come remotely close. It's an amazing feeling. But let's not dwell on that anymore. You hurt me Sara, and now I'm going to hurt you. Everyone you know and love lives in the teeny tiny cities surrounding you. At your current size, wiping them out should be a breeze. You can either do that, or I'll do it for you. One flick of my toe and your galaxy is bye-bye. What'll it be?" Emily said, chuckling quietly to herself. Sara felt paralyzed. No matter what, all her loved ones were about to meet a terrible fate. "I guess... I'll do it myself" she said softly, the weight of what was about to happen crushing her like a ton of bricks. She stood up and gingerly walked over to the smallest of the cities surrounding her.

She raised her soft, peachy and slightly pink sole above it, casting a shadow across the entire city. She tried not to think about the thousands of innocent people trying to go about their day in that city, about to perish. She slammed her foot down on it, crushing it instantly. The tallest of its skyscrapers putting up a pitiful resistance to the cushiony flesh of her sole. "Wow, nice one! Only 4 more to go now!" Emily smiled. Sara tilted her head up, refusing to look down. She quickly stomped out 3 of the remaining cities as fast as she could, wanting to get the ordeal over with quickly. She was responsible for the murder of millions of innocent people now. She finally looked down at the final city: Her hometown. She had lived there her whole life. Julia lived there too. She could even barely see Julia's house if she bent down and squinted. What must Julia be thinking now. The realisation hit her like a train. Sara froze. Her parents had moved to a nearby city just a year before, its remains now flattened into the Earth or mashed into the soft surface of her sole. Her best friend was studying in another nearby city, the campus now caught in a ridge of her toeprint. Julia was the only person she cared about left. Sara walked away, fell to her knees and sobbed. "I crushed 4 of them, is that enough for you, you monster?!" she shouted. "There's no need for name calling, honey. I'll tell you what, just crush Julia's house and I'll return you to normal. Although, you'll probably be arrested for the millions of murders you just did. You'll never leave the jail cell. If you crush the entire city, you can stay at that size forever, and be free as a bird the rest of your life. Or, the offer is still open if you want me to just wipe out the entire galaxy myself. I won't complain about it" Emily said. Sara took a deep breath and raised her sole above the city.

She froze again. Her mind raced at a million miles per hour. "N-no. I can't do it" she said, breaking down into tears once again. "Suit yourself then" Emily shrugged. A powerful wind launched Sara off her feet, ejecting her into the cold depths of space. Emily casually scrunched her left big toe right through the center of the galaxy. Enormous stars and entire solar systems were obliterated in an instant at the sheer might of her digit. Sara was, however, completely unharmed. "As much as you hurt me, I could never kill you Sara. When I grew you, I also made you invincible. Your entire galaxy has been completely demolished by my cute little toe, which you're now stuck to forever. I'm going to go find another galaxy to live in, I'll shrink myself back down to normal size and find another girl who'll treat me right and appreciate my powers. Meanwhile, you'll be right there, on my galaxy sized toe. Bye-bye!"
