War Lilac: Okay...three, two, one...ROCK!

Lilac: Paper.

War Lilac: Dang it! Okay, Round...uh, what round are we up to now?

Lilac: Forty.

War Lilac: Grrrr...well, let's keeping going! Three, two, one...PAPER!

Lilac: Scissors.

War Lilac: SON OF A...*sigh* You know, this would be easier if I wasn't, I dunno, handcuffed.

Lilac: Yeah, well No-Zone orders. I don't exactly want you uncuffed anyway. Not sure what you'd do.

War Lilac: Oh, nice to know you trust me(!)

Lilac: You think it's easy, looking at you? Every time I look at you, I see what I could have been, what the rest of the No-Zone says I SHOULD be. I got off REALLY lucky when I went up against Brevon, and every time I see your ravaged looks I'm...reminded of that.

War Lilac: ...Still a Mary-Sue.

Lilac: Just keep playing. You're here for another two days. Better make the most of it.

*Carol enters with Milla*

Carol: Hey girls.

War Lilac and Lilac: Hey.

Lilac: What're you doing up, Carol? I thought you were having one of your catnaps?

Carol: I was, but me and Milla were talking about a few things. If we have to babysit that...thing for a week, we might as well try to "soothe" her a bit. Have some fun, you know? Take her mind off things!

Lilac: Like what?

Milla: We're going dancing in Shang Mu! I got some boat tickets free in one of the newspapers we buy!

War Lilac: Huh, I guess the Shang Mu Standard was good for something other than toilet paper.

Carol: Yeah, we planned to go down to Shang Mu on a boat, go to the main club, do some dancing, eat some sushi, buy some smoothies, the works! It's something we haven't done in a while, actually. It should be fun! There's only one caveat, though.

Milla: I want the other you to come along as well, without her cuffs!

Lilac: ...wat

Carol: Come on, Lilac. It's not like she'll be vulnerable. She ended up taking down Brevon, after all.

War Lilac: Well, depending on who you ask.

Carol: And we'll be there too. So I VERY much think if she goes rogue, we can handle her.

Lilac: ...Alright. What about clothes? We have dancing clothes, but...

Milla: I went into Shang Tu this morning with Carol, and we bought the other you this really pretty dress! She should try it on right now! Come on!

Lilac: Alright, I'll take the cuffs off. The last person she'd want to harm is you, after all...*reluctantly uncuffs War Lilac* But if you even lay a finger on her I will use my Dragon Boost to fire you into the sun. Clear?!

War Lilac: Crystal.

*she vanishes with Milla into the bedroom, and are gone for quite a bit. Lilac and Carol take the time to dress up in their dancing getup; Lilac a lavender dress with roses around the midsection and Carol with a suitably retro yellow dress and red heels*

Lilac: Well, is she ready yet?

Carol: Well, it's not like there's not a lot of work to do. It's like renovating an ancient house. Give her some time.

Milla: I'm ready! And she's ready!

*Milla bounds out of the bedroom, wearing her green dress with white jacket and boots. And there, in the doorway, is a cleaned up War Lilac. Her mottled scales are properly washed and neat, her skin is not blotched or covered in blood, her tattered clothes have been replaced with a black and red dress and two synthetic tendrils have been decorated and then clipped to her head, in the same manner as Lilac. She stares at the two, her face making it clear she doesn't know what to think*

Carol: Woooooah.

Lilac: Wow, other me. You clean up really nicely!

Milla: I know! Isn't she pretty?

War Lilac: I...I-I...

Lilac: Well? What do you think?

War Lilac: I...don't know what to say. I feel so different. There's no blood, there's no tatty clothes. Nothing feels like its missing. I feel...complete.

Lilac: That's...actually great!

War Lilac: It's odd. It's a small change in the grand scheme of things, but...I feel...happy. I feel like I could, uh how do the cool kids say it, strut my funky stuff!

Carol: Well then. Should we get going?

All: YEAH!

...Fairly sure that's the wrong use of the term "You clean up nicely". Still...

So...there's not really a lot behind this one. I've been drawing a lot of depressing stuff recently. All stemming from...something, I'm not too sure yet. All I know is that it's SOMETHING, and it's messing with the tone of my work a bit. So I decided to draw something positive for once. And what better way to do that than to take one of the most broken characters in my roster and spruce her up a bit? It's something I designed in a few minutes at best, so it's not the most developed thing. Also that background's pretty gaudy but I can't change it now. Still, it's...okay, I guess. A 2.5/5 effort. Gotta keep getting better, though. Still, enjoy.
