Narrator: "Even though he was young, Hiccup knew that something was very wrong with his father and he wanted to help him."Instincitvely, he toddled over to the foot of stoick's chair and was now tugging on his father's tunic. It was his way of saying, 'I'm here for you.'"

Yes! One of my friends has a two-year old, and when I was there at his house, his son toddled over to me and tugged on my pant leg. He wanted me to take him up into the air. So that event was what sparked this whole story.

i had that feeling a few weeks ago. my nefew tugged on my leg and when i went to ask what he wanted he soon realised that he mistaked his aunty for mama. i got so depressed afterwards because i was rejected by a two yearold!
By the way... LOVE the picture. If you replace the green eyes for blue and blonde hair, you have my nephew!

Very true! One of my other friends, Visr, and I had impromptu dialogue going on back and forth about Hiccup delivering him a cake he had made (and it was a terrible cake!) that went on for days. Lots of fun and lots of laughs!
