Ok, time for a few more OC's! Today I introduce to ladies from my story, Bishojo Senshi Sailormoon: Yugure no Eien, Knights Nix and Hydra!

The Story:

Appearing first in Chapter Eleven, Nix and Hydra were handmaids in tow of Queen Serenity, Usagi's mother. They were very protective of their young sovereign, who had acquired the reins of power after Sailor Saturn had killed Lady Tsukiyomi, her mother.

Young people are often given to mistakes, catering to personal yearnings and such before learning proper way of things, as only time can teach. The good Queen fell in love with Pluto's Knight, Charon, and despite her best efforts Charon was unwilling to abandon his love for Pluto.

Eventually, Serenity uses her crystal to empower Nix and Hydra into knights, and surprisingly did not lose her life the way Endymion, her father did when her made the Knights of the White Moon. Nix and Hydra were ordered to take Pluto back to her world and ensure she never leave her station; barring no incursions into the solar system. Fearing that Pluto would not kill Charon if he went before the Door, Nix and Hydra, whom are placed in statis, will awaken if Charon comes for his Set-zu with one order: Kill Guardian Pluto and her Forever Knight!

Seems pretty brutal, but a woman scorned is often pretty vengeful, and remember Queen Serenity lost her mother and became the Queen of the Silver Millennium at a young age. What lonely, sad and vulnerable girl isn't prone to a few mistakes? And never forget, Serenity in later years came to regret her mistake, but could not undo what she had set into motion.

The Ladies:

Nix, Knight of Selene - A strong dominate woman dressed in black armor. Nix was created with the power to nullify other knights, Charon specifically. With a loud sonic scream she can negate any attack initiated by a Knight of the White Moon. Her preferred weapon (not shown) is a claw-like gauntlet with razor fingers.

After Charon had refused Serenity, she felt upset by the Queen's tears. Together with Hydra, a woman whom she is in love with, she is empowered as a Knight by Serenity to Kill Charon if he ever came to be with Pluto.

Hydra, Knight of Selene - a rather quiet and submissive girl, completely bubbly a little aloof. She wears pristine white armor. Her ability is 'Sailor Nullification,' a skill designed to prevent Guardian Pluto from using time tricks in combat so she could be eliminated if she tried to leave her world. Her weapon is a retractable Bo staff kept in her boot.

She was greatly upset when Charon chose not to be the First Prince and stand by Serenity. Angered by her friends tears, she and her lover Nix were empowered to become Knights by Serenity, and is tasked with the mission to kill the Guardian if she tried to leave her world.

Other- Yes, Nix and Hydra are a yuri couple, like Uranus and Neptune. The Moon Kingdom did not discriminate, better recognize. The pairing makes sense, and I like it this way.

Historical Note - As I was working on the initial plot development for Bishojo Senshi Sailormoon- Yugure no Eien, I came across information that two other moons were discovered to orbit Pluto, they are so small and tiny they couldn't have been seen before until just recently. Classified as Nix and Hydra in 2005-2006, the development created a slight kink in the story.

The romance existed between Pluto and Charon largely because they are considered a binary dwarf planet, and until recently they orbited each other. Now since has added two 'watcher' moons, it gave me a chance to be creative and add them into the Sailor Moon universe. This is where Serenity's Sin arc began to develop, giving rise to the characters you can enjoy in Chapters 11-13.

They were created using a blend of Photoshop CS2 and Custom 3D Girl (a make your own anime girl proggie/game thing.)
