Description
well, 18hours later and its done, or at least, its "designed" and "inked". The next step it to enlarge it to match into the full sized peice, I guess its about 75% how big it needs to be. Soo yeah this is a continueation of my time-eating project the "Four seasons" The center peice and summer peice linked below are full sized. I'm sort of drifting around the map as far "style" goes, I'm sure when I've got all four season finished it will be a total mess! Onward through the Fog I say!Orginal planning layout > [link]

pencil and Ink(pen and brush) on shitty printer paper >.<
Anyone else see a viking/horned god like 'head' in this? I noticed the shape when I reduce the size, no planning there, although it tottally fits with the seaons and imagagry presented...
Edit: thanks very much to the for adding this peice to their gallery, and Hi to my fellow clubbies who visit by (^ ,^ '/'''

The original was all done by hand. Then I used Paint shop pro to trace the whole thing with vector bezier curves; to keep the line width nice and to make it a vector size to I could go from a4 to poster size
i printed it for my wife, it looks very nice even in poster size.

Its a slow process. But I'm no yardstick to hold measure to. There are much better artists who work much faster, probably with more concentration on one medium I might be so too. I just don't do it enough.

most certainly does, 5 petal roses to specific; the horney god has the goddess's flower on the brain

I do see the visor and the horned helm! This is neat. I love it when a complex piece also has unexpected other images.
Beautifully done. I love this.

I am a HUGE fan of Celtic style work and I also plan to get a few tattoos done, all containing Celtic knotwork to tie them all together. Excellent work, perhaps some time you can do some custom work?

I can do some yes, but I'm up for a big move soon, so you're best to wait for december or further on for anything really serious or detailed.

Well, he may not be a spring symbol per se, but he is a protective symbol. Damn it, I never have gods pop out of my art!

Ahhh, thank goodness I'm not crazy! when I finished inking it I was like "no that can't be..." but it was, I'm not so sure that Odin relates to Spring all that much, but like you say...nifty

Thank you very much, I had originally designed an asymetrical version of this, but it was very 'top' heavy, this one holds itself together I think.

Another piece of it? Oyeah.. That's the way to go. This reminds me of the proverb "Two massive powers collide, The minorities got caught dead in the center" Though it may bring a different meaning anyways.
I like your works regarding this. They're so.. Like.. Majestic looking.
