Alternative scenario in South America: current Amazônia Legal (Legal Amazon), approximately, would be an unitary independent country, the Republic of the Amazonia (República da Amazônia) whose capital city would be Manaus. In addition, the three states of current South Region of Brazil (Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul) would be another unitary country: the Republic of Iguazu (República do Iguaçu) whose capital city would be Curitiba. Brazilian states of Rio Grande do Norte and Mato Grosso do Sul would be renamed as Rio Grande and Mato Grosso respectively.
