Description
MAP BRUSHES TO THE RESCUE thanks to StarRaven for providing some awesome brushes!

Please note that this is meant to be a WORLD, so it is larger than it appears. It should take at least a week for your character to travel to a new island, even more if they are traveling from one side of an island to the other to cross the land bridge. Wild horses are free to roam any and all islands.

*The seasons in Hillevia are very warm; it is basically always spring or summer, so no cold or snow!

COLONIST
  • New Morningsburg: This is the largest of two Colonist kingdoms in Hillevia; it is the most thriving city out of all the colonies and holds many high class families.
  • Swinetown: A very small town of Colonists. Named after a pig farmer who founded it and continues his work there to this day, along with many other livestock farmers.
  • Arcadia: Very closely related to New Morningsburg, Arcadia is city built into the thick forests surrounding it. It is a quiet and peaceful village.
  • Jessica: The smaller of two Colonist kingdoms, Jessica is quainter than it's New Morningsburg counterpart. Jessica has a good mixture of high, middle, and low class people living amongst one another.
  • Midlock: Situated in a valley, Midlock is a lush village known for it's agriculture work.
  • Lochdale: Possibly the smallest Colonist city in Hillevia, Lochdale is extremely low class and poverty stricken.

NATIVE
  • Hehewuti: A small tribe of Native people. Wary of the colonists, this tribe stays close to the land bridge but maintains it's prairie way of life.
  • Abetzi: A larger tribe of Native people who call the small mountain range it's home. Because of the colder climate, these natives thrive from the tanning of animal hides that they may trade with the colonist villages.
  • Karakuut: Another small tribe, these Natives are close knit and wary of outsiders, especially Colonists. These natives mainly use the streams for their supply of fish to live off of.
  • Eyota: Situated on it's own island, the Natives of Eyota are suited for the dryer climate and are a docile bunch who tame the equines that live there.
  • Pokoli: The smallest Native tribe, these people are almost all related and create their homes in caves at the base of the mountains they are located near.
  • Watuasi: Yet another small tribe, the natives of Watuasi are beach dwellers and prefer the water.
  • Chilalili: This is the largest Native tribe. This is the most thriving tribe, but because of the extremely dry area they are located in, water is the most valuable form of currency.

WILD
  • The Slumbering Mountains: Named for the many men and animals who have tried to climb it; any who have tried to reach it's peak are never heard from again. The colonists spread rumors that any who try are cursed with an eternal slumber: death.
  • Starq Lake:A body of water where many animals converge.
  • The Reservoir: This large lake is wheat the surrounding colonist villages use for their main water supply.
  • Suwanee Peak: A dormant volcano, though the surrounding Native tribes have whispered amongst themselves of tremors in the earth coming from the mountain.
  • Satinka Lake: A small lake where a lone Native shaman woman lives.
  • Talisa Lake: A crooked body of water that has been known to recede in the dry season. This is Eyota's main water source.
  • The Loch: The biggest lake in all of Hillevia, it is the surrounding colonist villages main source of water.
  • Mount Forsaken: Simply named for being a lone mountain on it's own little island.
  • Meridian Bay: What used to be the home of a large volcano, when it died it created this almost perfectly oval bay. In the middle is the remnants of the volcano's tip.
  • Grypon's Point: Named after the first man to climb to the tip on horseback. The man named the mountain peak after his trusty horse, who managed to the climb and descent with minor injuries.
  • Byrst Pool: The smallest body of water on Hillevia, this lake was named after it's appearance; it looks as if the water burst out of the ground with great force. Surrounding the Byrst Pool is many geysers, perhaps one of which Byrst used to be.

What are the seasons like here? Hot summers with frozen winters? Or is it pretty temperate all year long?
