Did some pixel pushing to explore variations on a pulse rifle theme.

The top one is standard. It's the most common version issued to most combat infantryman. It's composed of the standard 10mm caseless rifle and 20mm, 3 shot pump action grenade launcher.

The middle one has the standard shroud shape but a shorter front end, the lower module can accept a single shot grenade or a tactical light. This one is intended for CQB, Close Quarters Battle. Shipboartd fighting and combat in closed in areas.

The bottom one has had the shroud shortened considerably and the lower module can only accomodate a light. Called the PDW variant, it's issued to aircrew and combat vehicle crewman. It's enhanced portability comes at the cost of decreased range due to the shortened barrel.
