The Lake District, Christmas 2006.View from Catbells towards the Jaws of Borrowdale.
Taken with a Nikon D80, 18-70mm lens.
Two exposures.
Edited with curves, contrast, channel mixing, etc.

It's a marvelous shot. The treeless saddles remind me of hiking the alpine meadows in the mountains behind Anchorage, Alaska yea many years ago.

Such a wonderful photo. I love the clarity of it. Did you use any filters at all? I ask this because the exposure looks perfect.

No, I didn't use any filters for this (though I do now have some ND-Grad filters). I blended multiple exposures in Photoshop instead to simulate grad filters.
