"Razorclaw vs. Megatron: The Dark Angel's Might Kills"Prints available!
I just picked up a shiny new Modbook over the holidays, and I thought I'd use it to try out a different art style from my norm. The scene comes from Universe Razorclaw 's backstory: He's an alternate-timeline Tigerhawk who actually succeeded in his mission to destroy Beast Wars Megatron . (In that way, this is sort of a companion piece to another pic of mine .)
Bonus points, redeemable nowhere, to anybody who gets the pun in the title and why it's relevant.

Totally cool. I love this series. The best animated television series of all time. I am listening to intense music while looking at this. It adds to the already intense emotion of the art. Emotion if one has actually watched Beast Wars that is. Well done.

Thank you! I've always liked making energy effects, and I'm glad that even with a different style I've been able to make it work. (It helped that I found a really good Photoshop paint-splatter brush collection right off the bat.)

Glad you like it! And yeah, I haven't done much Beast stuff in the past, but this more painterly style I'm experimenting with seems to suit it.
