I do a lot of Sokka pictures...

(to show a few...)

Most of the time it's his legendary, usually self inflicted, misfortune. It's not often that comedic relief in a show ascends to such memorable levels... but, get a couple of Avatards in a room together, and you will no doubt get to the topic of funny sokka-isms.

Today though, I'd like to spotlight something else about him as a character.

Sokka's just an awesome guy. From his "Warrior's Wolf Tail," to his unmatched Haiku skills. From his sarcastic jokes and hilarious nicknames, to his boomerang.

He's funny... but when it comes to the important things in life he's sincere. He's intelligent, a natural leader, works hard (most of the time), and fights to protect the people and causes that mean the most to him.

This episode- I think- really shows off the best parts of what makes him Sokka. The way he threw himself into the work in his own unique way. I was so proud of him when he confessed his real name and intentions.

There's no doubt in my mind that he'll become a central figure in the "Order of the White Lotus" at some point... if not a Grand Master. He has all the makings of it
