This is the last piece I made at Graduate School the semester after I had graduated. I feel it is a new departure point for my work to start heading in.Dimensions approx

Sure... Well I love lines that can be found in Car design. How they are clean and flow smoothly, then fade into nothing. Also I like how the designer pulls ideas from the human body and integrates them into the design. So what I do is look at the human body and pull ideas from car design to create a form resembling a stlyized anotomical part. I feel this one looks like something from the inner ear, but also I called it Nascent because it means new growth which I feel this is piece is the start of a new direction for my work to move in... I hope that makes any sense at all.

Actually all of my Sculptures are clay. this one just has a matte underglaze that I used to get the color. Thanks for the comments and fav's.
