How did I end up sitting in the ruins of a pokemon gym?

Well first, recently I found out Mega Evolution has a strange side effect on me. At random times, when I mega evolve, I also undergo mega growth, like my sizeshifting power go into overdrive without warning. It doesn't happen everytime, but when it does, I always end up growing bigger than buildings, and it usually happens when I least want it to.

At the gym i frequent when i want intense training The trainer I was up against wanted to have a mega evolution battle against me in my lucario form (which I was that day). He heard about my aura blade ability and wanted to see it for himself. I was nervous about doing so, fearing the mega growth spurt might occur, but I didn't want to disappoint this guy, so I went ahead and mega evolved.

Bad move on my part, as only a few seconds after mega evolving and having barely just mustered up an aure monado (how I can will be explained in a future pic), a mega evo growth spurt occurred. Thankfully, everyone was able to evacuate the arena before I completely filled up, and got everyone out of the building before completely outgrew and destroyed the place.

In the aftermath, I was just sitting there in rubble of the now destroyed gym (which I fixed up afterwards), aura blade in my hand and planted in the ground, me thinking on how I knew this might happen, but then again, with it happening at random times, how could I prepare for it?

I hope I can get a handle on this before too many more buildings get destroyed because of it.
