I'd love to see them incorperate go-bots characters into the tranformers franchise. Wich wouldn't be a stretch since hasbro owns the copyrights to them, wich they aquired when they bought out Tonka.

Technically, they have, with Classics Bug Bite being intergrated into Games of Deception at BotCon last year. And they also released a package of Minibot redecos bearing the Go-Bot's names and personalities.

they definitely own the character names and the name 'gobots'. but unfortunately I don't think they have any ownership of the toy designs (Bandai probably owns them) or the animated series designs (probably owned by Hanna-Barbera's parent company Warner Bros)

All they have to do is design toys that look just enough like the original characters to make them recognizable but not enough so as to avoid legal issues. Like what they did with classics Jetfire.

I saw something a while ago that shows him as a Humvee. Looked pretty much like the cartoon version, with the grill acting as the cassette door, and he even had the rocket launcher on his shoulder.
