The G1 Devastator (you know.. .the real one heh) I sketched out as part of a Livestream broadcast of myself drawing. While drawing, lightning knocked out my power and I lost all my work (save often kids!). So I gave up ont hat, and drew an Optimus instead for the Livestream (which I'll posted a link to on the main page!). I didn't feel like redrawing Dev so I was going to think of something else for the strip... but I then remembered- Livestream saves all your broadcasts! So I went to the devastator video, screencapped the part when I had sketched Devastator, and inked over the lowres screen cap. Phew!

G1 Devastator is only real in your imagination. He is not real in real life. How he looks along with how the G1 Constructicons combine to form him violates the laws of physics.

it was a railgun. also, the balls were 1)for comic effect and 2)because that part of his body is where the crane goes.

If I recall, none of the vehicles he was made of had wrecking balls even, but I haven't seen that movie in a while.

those weren't exactly wrecking balls, they were the weights that they use to keep the line straight when it's not in use, as well as the hook weight-one of them is a stopper so it doesn't reel in to much, and the other is to keep the hook from blowing around wildly.
