Last I checked, they were still debating on whether or not to have Unicron be in the third movie. Granted, for story conflict that's truly epic, you can't beat a villain at that scale. Unfortunately, it's the scale that poses the biggest problem from a technical standpoint. They certainly can't do for the Transformer's Satan what they did with Galactus for the second Fantastic Four movie.

Movie Starscream was a total badass. HE TOOK BUMBLEBEE'S LEGS!!!!!! And anyway, you can't have Starscream act exactly the same in all incarnations, that's just too predictable. But I do agree Unicron in TF3 would have been awesome. It would've been better than the piece of crap we got instead.

Don't worry everyone! Soundwave was in the sequel.....but he was a satellite due to Bay's tampering. Unicron, however, got replaced by The Fallen, his most powerful herald.

Well it does seem to be confirmed Soundwave will be in the sequal. I think if Unicron makes an appearance, they should save him for the third movie (since they are planning a trilogy).

Well hope if they have Unicron that they do a Gal-La-Tus on him like they in Fantastic Four:RotSS(Rise of the Silver Surfer). If anything can be done to fix that grave mistake is that they recon it to being only his matter converter being destroyed(hence the Surfer never seeing his "Boss" in person only the gay purple cloud thing(kinda like the "Voice of God" thing they had in Dogma) and big G just working things from behind that to shield himself from any (counter?)attacks).

Bludgeon would actually be pretty cool in the movie, even without his Pretender shell. I don't know why people seem unable to fathom him without it. Just design his robot mode face with a skull-like look, and viola!

I'd just like to say ouch for all those below-the-radar Gobot fans out there. And good luck finding someone who can do Unicron's voice as good as Orson Wells, or they can just track down the guy who did the Vok voice in the Beast Wars season 1 finale.
