I guess that's fine...Batman was killed buy an evil alien overlord's laser-eyes, I guess his return should be equally as goofy.

If Batman doesn't punch at least ONE Nazi the entire series is a failure in my eyes. Time traveling + superheroes = Nazis being punched. IT'S THE LAW OF THE LAND!

Seriously, Final Crisis was a mess of a storyline. Did we really need a giant all encompassing DCU battle just to have Darkseid kill Batman? Because, really, that's the ONLY thing that that series accomplished. And now they're undoing that!
Ah well, I can't really complain though. I started picking up Batman monthly after I read Batman and Battle for the Cowl, and the Dick Grayson stuff is pretty good. Plus, I liked some of Grant Morrison's other stuff, so let's just hope this can be pulled off...

It was rather disappointing hearing Bruce Wayne die, even with how he died being so ironic.
Though these whole time traveling scheme seemed to just ruin it all.

Well, in-continuity is always a good thing. And I DID like a lot of the stuff he did with Bruce in R.I.P., despite not really liking that storyline as a whole, so sure!

Woot. Yea, I didn't like R.I.P.'s story either, seemed kind of aimless without any kind of concrete resolution. Like watching Donnie Darko the first time. You enjoyed it, but didn't really get it, which ruins the experience the first time.
