Only really know G1 and Movieverse well, but G2's colours are just too daft, BW's voice always annoyed me in the few episodes I ever watched and the other two, never seen anything of them so... actually, Movieverse wins for me because he's so much more hardcore than G1 (and he really shouldn't be ashamed of his looks - scary is good for Decepticons!).

I'm a G1 fan so G1 would be my choice, though Gigatron/R.I.D. Megatron does have 10 forms (and if I remember correctly, actually more than 10 forms on the toy)

I'm tied between 2. Beast Megatron, because he's hilarious, intelligent, and almost destroyed the universal pass of time. And Animated Megatron, because he is an absolute powerhouse killing-machine, a master tactician, and has my favourite alt-mode of any Megatron so far.

Beast Wars. A. Because of David Kaye. B. Because no other Megatron made evil both look hideously evil and comedic at the same time. Besides, there's times where I absolutely feel sorry for the guy. So, BW Megs gets sympathy points.

It's funny because you can make a drinking game out of BW Megatron. A shot every time he says "yes". You'd get smashed after 5 minutes on most episodes. Heck, as a kid we kept count. The average was about 20 if I remember correctly.

I would combine the intelligence of the BW Megatron with the original look and bad-ass attitude of G1 Megatron.

My personal opinion isthat all the megatrons were great but BW megatron was the best by far. He always had a counter plan for scheming backstabbing second in commands plus he was able to keep a lot of his troops in line. I mean come on he was able to keep RAMPAGE under control....mostly. and Finally he probly had the best idea of any megatron to win the war between the two sides once and for all by going into the past and killing the first Optimus Prime, and he almost succeded too. well thats my opinion : )

I'm an Armada guy, myself. I didn't like him in Beast Wars, he sounds like he needs a lozenge in G1, Don't know anything about G2 or RID, and Movie Megs needed some work/Character development.

Beast Wars Megatron, he could win some of the battles, plus in Beast Machines he actually took over Cybertron. Besides, a transmetal T-Rex rocks.
